Just an idea that's been kicking around in my head since finishing Freddie Blassie's book. What if Andy Kaufman had lived and been able to continue being involved in wrestling? Would he have been part of the Rock N Wrestling connection? I know he wasn't a rocker but as a celebrity I mean. If you don't feel like answering this question, then feel free to throw out a What If? of your own.
I think maybe Kaufman would have moved on before it got as big as the Rock 'n Wrestling era. He didn't follow fads, he went against them and did his own thing. As much as he loved wrestling, I think he would have found some new outlet once it became the in thing.
Really, thanks to everybody who read that and enjoyed it. I've been writing semi-professionally for several years now, but that's definitely the piece that makes me happiest these days. After the interview, there was an eerie silence from the WWE.
