I am sitting here, enjoying some Wal Mart brand PINA COLADA flavored yogurt and just LOVING it! Smooth, creamy Coconut-ty with chunks of Pineapple. So, which is YOUR favorite?

Vanilla, unless it's Creme Savers yogurt, then it's ANY flavor. I don't really like yogurt with chunks of things (like fruit) in it, which is why I usually opt for vanilla.

I usually get those huge containers of plain yogurt since I use it while cooking quite a bit. When I want yogurt by itself, I mix in some chopped up fruit, honey, and granola.

Back home, my dad gets Yoplait single servings and my favorite of those is blueberry/raspberry.

I pretty much like any flavor of yogurt just as long as there isn't any type of bits in it at all. My wife always teases me saying that I have "texture issues".

Thank God you're finally working for somebody worth shamelessly schilling. (Or at least living around such a company...I don't know...)

All Tillamook EVERYTHING is amazingly good. Especially "Udderly Chocolate" (formerly "Brown Cow") ice cream.

Oh...Yogurt? Blueberry. Although the way things are going, there's probably thousands of yogurt flavors out there I'll never get around to trying. AE's "White Chocolate" is mighty tasty for those of you in Iowa or Hy-Vee territory.

I like peach the best, but pineapple is also good. Really I can eat any kind though. I have to say that unlike many other folks here, I am a huge fan of the fruit on the bottom yogurt - no texture issues for me .

What do you do with it? I am genuinely curious. I watched Alton Brown's "Good Eats" and tried to make herb dip out of yogurt but failed. [It was me, not the recipe; too sour.] Do you ever try to make your own yogurt, samoflange?

I don't eat yogurt, but I know I should. All of those wonderful micro-organisms and calcium and stuff. So I don't grow a hunchback when I am older. I grew up in a household that didn't eat yogurt and it stuck. Husband likes the stuff with fruit on the bottom: strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry.

Blueberry yogurt, no question. In fact that's the only way I ever eat blueberries. I also like peach and strawberry banana, but to be honest-- I haven't yet tasted a yogurt I disliked, except for plain.

A lot of Indian foods (especially spicy curries) use yogurt. Anytime something calls for heavy cream, I use yogurt instead. I use it when baking to keep things more moist. I use it so make thick marinades. I use it instead of sour cream since sour cream has basically no nutritional value. I also use yogurt instead of mayonaisse because mayonaisse basically has a negative nutritional value.

There's a couple of things to keep in mind when using yogurt though. Don't heat it very quickly if you are cooking with it. Add some hot water/oil/whatever to it slowly to warm it, and then once its pretty warm, its ok to introduce it to a hot pan, pot, boiling water. Also don't use anything aluminum with it; one of the dominant acids in yogurt has a rather unpleasant reaction with aluminum.
