I don't think there will be another Old School Ranger coming back since a lot of the former P.R. actors will never come back and do it. And I don't think any of them are as over as Tommy is/was. It was just a one time thing, I think they wanted to do since they going back to the Dinosaur format.

And the old series DVD's are not gonna happen.

I shouldn't have looked in here, but I did, silly me. Now the Power Ranger themesong will be in my head the next week easy. Fun! Though it was interesting to see where they are now.

*edit... it's spelled INTERESTING and maybe someday I'll remember it

Go go power rangers, you mighty morphin power rangers! (cue terrible guitar riffs)

I find it hilarious: the same show (more or less) that kicked off Canadian airwaves is on (of all places) the family channel here...and it seems more violent now than it was then.

I followed Power Rangers religiously through MMPR and Zeo, and kind of lost interest somewhere in the middle of Turbo. Good read, although I find it ironic and a little bit sad that three of the original six Rangers ended up doing pornos. Not that I have anything against pornos, mind you. It's just an indication of how far their careers fell.

Um, granted one of them allegedly did a porno, but the second one did a nude softcore scene in a regular movie and the third one did a quasi-nude scene on a (then) popular show on MTV. Now just how far are those "falls" really?

X-E's co-Worst Poster of all time! JKyle.com says:

I always thought it would've actually made sense had BILLY been the Prof in Dino Thunder.

Of course, he'd have to wear a hat or something. Poor David's hairline...

Why no DVDs? I expect they'll realize people are paying good money for the poorly subtitled Japanese Versions and crack sooner or later.

I also lost it around Turbo only to find out from ABC Family that Space and Time Force are both kick ass and deep in recurring plots and in jokes (searching the Dagobah system for Zordon).

Time Force may be the best season with the most believable characters (Eric's a dick, Wes is spoiled but learns quick, Alex is overbearing and well meaning, Trip is... a doormat)

Also did anybody else mourn the destruction of the Alpha 5 system on SPD?

I missed the death of Alpha Five. Wasn't there an "Alpha Six" that was like a robotic Urkel or whatever?

I also missed Zordon's sarcifice/suicide, but if I would compare the two, I'd mourn Zordon's more.

I also rank the original Power Rangers movie as a guilty pleasure of mine, but I pretty much refuse to watch the Turbo one. That was lame.

Amy Jo Johnson was a huge crush for me... she made me watch FELICITY, of all things.

I ditched the series after going to see PR: TURBO cause I thought the movie was crap.

I've heard there is a version of the Turbo movie script that is way better than what was put on film.

And I didn't think Undressed was that popular.

I did the same...I hung on until Turbo then lost track.

DITTO! Except I never had time to catch Felicity...only caught one episode. The only other thing that I occationally do is try and catch the series to see if there are any new good looking women Rangers because I still haven't seen a good chick replacement since Kimberly/Amy Jo Johnson. Yeah, they've looked nice/ok, still lack the quality she brought to being a Ranger if you can say that. Wait, I just did.

There was this truly horrible fanfic that I found about 8 years ago, I'd guess, that had Kimberly getting taken prisoner and then for like 20 pages, she gets raped and beaten.

Sorry, I can't find the link now, but I think it was called 'Tragedy In Pink' or something like that.

It wasn't all that bad actually.

It was 'Agony in Pink' actually. I've read some of it, I made it about 7 pages in and stopped.

You mean THIS fanfic? (reallybadfanfiction.com)

It's totally disgusting. I think the writer probably hated the character to a point of obsession. It's sad, really.

EDIT: Link is not work friendly at all!!! Caution!!!

A few years back they did an experiment to see if people would buy the older Power Rangers seasons on DVD with a compelation DVD called "The Best of the Power Rangers" that featured a few team-ups including the 10th anniversry episode where all the past Red Rangers teamed up.

The DVD sold moderatly well, but not enough for them to consider releasing the older seasons in full.

FOREVER RED kicked ass. I loved it.

Three reasons: Bulk, Skull, and the return of the Red Alien Ranger!

According to IMBD he was in a Doctor Who Dalek two parter back in 2007. I remember that episode and he was just ok in it. I could complain about a 27 year old playing a 16 year old Peter Parker, but thats rather pointless.
