Killed it off. Hurricane used it and really, what's the point of being the biggest guy if you use a shitty move like "The Final Cut" or the "Alley-Oop"? The Chokeslam IS the perfect move for him.

quick rephrase: I didn't mean that as in the move ITSLF is shitty, rather the idea of a big guy doing it is.

Speaking of Big Show's finishers, did he ever win a match with his version of the Worm? That was back when he was the "Showster."

What's the Alley-Oop?

Mean Gene: "You know, I don't think it's a question - Goldberg, I don't think it's a question of who's next, I think it's a question of who's left?"
Goldberg: "No, see, that's where you're wrong. It ain't who's left, it's - WHO'S NEXT?"

Alley-Oop...

Imagine Big Show powerbombing somebody, but instead of finishing the bomb, he changes it into a face-slam by falling backwards.

I was there live when Show first did the alley oop. It made sense because Jeff went for a rana on him and Show just flipped him over his head, but as a normal move it sucked.

Ahh, I remember the move, but didn't know it was called that. What a lame name.

Did Scotty ever win a match with it? Either he did it on the illegal man and the other guy killed him for the pin afterwards or he got killed somewhere between the O and the R. I loved the Worm because I knew Scotty was dead and the match would soon be over.

Did the Hurricane get the Chokeslam as payment for Show stealing his finisher?

How bout a reverse chokeslam? Grabbing them by the back of the neck, and slamming them facefirst into the mat?

Actually...that would be kinda cool looking :)

Holy shit, that WOULD be pretty cool looking. If Smackdown 3 for PS2 puts that move in the create a wrestler, I'll buy the game on that alone.

Scotty won a few matches with the move, though I'm drawing a blank right now trying to think of instances. It happened, trust me.

Vader did a reverse power bomb on Dustin Runnels to finish a classic match. One of the best endings to a great match exer.

Am I an idiot for thinking it would make sense for someone of his height? Flipping someone off of a seven-footer should hurt a little. ;)

I doubt that they would want one brand clearly going over or "beating" the other brand.
