DDP's BANG was just part of Page being stuck in the 80's, culture-wise. When he says "You're getting BANGED," he's talking about the Diamond Cutter unless he's talking to Eric Bischoff...
Wienerville's resident WCW mark adds his perspective:
What does “BANG!” mean? You know... you will feel the BANG as he snaps the Diamond Cutter on you. It was just a way to drive home a point dramatically, like Emeril with “Bam!” And when you got “banged” by the Diamond Cutter, it meant lights out, game over. The end. Fuhgettaboutit, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
Unfortunately, DDP did it a little too much, and before long it was “Badda-bing, badda-boom, badda-BANG!” when he was with the Triad. [shudder]... He actually wasn't bad as a heel, but I found it difficult to dislike him after his feud with Randy Savage and war against the nWo.

Fuck you dude (meant in a good way *grin*) Nothing was as cool as that really lame Badabing/boom/BAAAANG spiel!
DDP with his entire Diamond Cutter Pose ruled so bad.. What I didn't like back then (but love to say now) is his 'SCUM' era. 'Bret -SCUM- Hart' 'Hollywood -SCUM' Hogan' blaah..it was so bad I think it was good now. Ofcourse nothing ruled as much as him calling Chris Jericho Jerk-icho (to which Chris answered by calling him Pagé (paa-sheee, Canadian style))
Edit: ofcourse "BANG" was made even cooler when Kanyon cuttered people and did the pose!

Steve Jackson! Games! Sluggy.com! Games! Phil Foglio! And err..Games!
Wasn't there an episode during the "Positively Kanyon" era where something happened backstage completely unrelated to DDP/Kanyon. Then the camera panned over to the side, and Kanyon ran out off in the distance and cuttered a completely random person while yelling "BANG!" Too funny!
Rikishi didn't sing "Bad Man". Juvenile did. They had a hit song called "Back Dat Ass Up" a few years back.
By the way, Storm's gimmick includes 1.) telling the audience to shut up, and 2.) occasionally making everyone stand for the Canadian national anthem. You know they don't know what to do with a wrestler when he's making fans stand for a national anthem. It's like waving a white flag and saying, "This guy has no personality -- we give up."
yeah i remember that. man that was the funniest thing i saw since the bedpan incident, he he still makes me smirk thinking about kanyon given that guy a diamond cutter, hey didnt he get bagwell's mom too?

he did indeed. bagwell and kanyon had a feud for a while near the end of wcw, during which judy bagwell came to the ring as buff's valet, wearing a neck brace. fucking bizarre. like, seriously. what were those writers smoking??
