You should also love England, Canada, Australia, Djibouti, Haiti, Russia, Iraq, and every other nation except France!
Loving a country, especially your own, is light years away from 1) loving the government 2) thinking everything everyone in the country does is great 3) living in Ubertoleranceville where no one criticizes anyone.
Love the principles for which your country stands. Love other nations for the good in the people there, even if their government is an oppressive dictatorship. (I am of course, excluding the French.) Love the freakin' landscape if you just can't find anything else!
The world ain't that big, people, and there are more of us than MacDonald's has served in franchise history, so spread the love!

I believe the first amendment says the government can make no law respecting any religion or a law that discourages your freedom to religion. Anyway, I think this goes along the wall of separation of church and state.
