- Cloverfield.
- The Moment of Truth (US - although Mark L Walberg seems like a huge downgrade from Springer.)
- Pitchers and Catchers (like every year)
- A new Metallica album.
- Iron Man.
- The return of Matt Hardy.
- One extra day.
Edit: - Grammar lessons.
Edit Edit: - Oh yeah, and the eight episodes of Lost we get. Duh.

Getting a Democrat back in the White House, if all goes well. (I know, they wouldn't actually take power until 09, but you know what I mean.)
New stuff at work--IAGW I'm going to be training new people starting soon; it's a farily big deal and I'll be flying to Dallas to get certified to do that. Combine that with pay increases I got this year (due to a promotion and due to overall changes in the company's pay system) and I should be making fairly decent money in the new year--before this year I really wasn't doing well.

Amen! We don't even have television anymore and we live in a state that's effectively being boycotted by most of the major candidates and I'm still sick of political ads.
Some other important things that I expect will happen this year:
I'll either be a full time teacher or I'll be in an entirely new career.
Taking over as the head coach of a High School baseball team.
Hopefully getting both knees scoped.
The opportunity to really study and then teach the Pastoral Epistles.
