I don't want to spoil too much, just want to say that I think that the swerve on Smackdown was great, and it caught me by total surprise. For all those who were concerned about a face Angel vs. a face Lesnar at Mania, this should end all doubt. I have to hand the WWE a lot of credit for long term planning establishing the heel vs. face match that we want. Futher, Angel and Lesnar won't be fighting every other week, so when the match finally does come, the anticipation for it will be tremendous.
shit...I actually enjoyed Raw more then SD! That's scary. Really REALLY scary.
Angle teaming up with Heyman was retarded and made no sense what-so-ever. Everyone and their mother knew that Brock vs Angle wasn't gonna happen next week. They should of just had Big Show destroy Brock that night, then a pissed Angle vows to get revenge(and returns the favor Brock gave him on the PPV) and challenges Big Show next week. This would gave a good excuse to save that main event, plus Angle would be still somewhat of a face. Heyman booking himself in the middle was just lame.
Flair: "Tonight, it's gonna be Austin, Bradshaw, taking on the NWO!
Flair: I'm not trying to screw you Austin. Tonight, to show that I'm legit, I'll referre your match tonight when you and bradshaw take on the n..w..o!
Flair: You thought that was funny Austin? No one screws with the nature boy! tonight, it's gonna be you and bradshaw taking on X-pac and Big Show!
Flair:That's it, you have pissed of the nature boy WHOOO for the very last time Austin!! Tonight I throwing your ass in a special tag match against the NWO. And your partner is gonna be.........Bradshaw!
Matt Hardy on the most recent SmackDown! is a good example of this. While I'd prefer to have seen him go over Helms cleanly, showing that he is indeed better than him, I at least could buy the cheating here as a sort of poetic justice.
