I was watching the game with people over at my house, and we were going back and forth on it all night...although you can't put a price on the first drive on the game where someone and I get into it over the jerseys and I'm saying I'm not sure if I like them or don't like them and then a minute later James McKnight runs 80 yards down the sidelines for a TD two minutes in the game and I'm yelling "I LIKES THE ORANGE JERSEYS! I LIKES THE ORANGE JERSEYS!" the whole time he's running for the score.
I guess it's one of those "You had to be there" moments.
Although in reality, those things are somewhere between The Carolina Blue alternate Panther jerseys (prolly my favorite alternate jersey intoduced this year) and the University of Oregon's "A banana that'll be ripe the day after tomorrow" motif on the sharp-to-ugly scale.
If Martha Stewart's obituary had a typo in it, would it read "Beloved Aunt"?
It's the fame and fortune of stars that makes baseball and basketball sports of declining interest. Football is more of an "everyman" kind of game, where selfishness is not rewarded but rather frowned upon (sort of).
