Did anyone else notice that, during the vault segment, Jericho said that The Dream Team was managed by Jimmy Hart and not Luscious Johnny Valiant?

Odd.

Speaking of last night's Confidential match, who was the woman who did color commentary? Whoever it was was awful.

It wasn't Gifford, it was Crosby I think. Either way, it was the one who hosted "That's Incredible".

WM 2 was tough to watch start-to-finish for that very reason....they were constantly having celebrity commentators who were just terrible. Listening to Susan St. James calling the first slate of matches with Vince McMahon was worse than...well, hearing someone competent call matches with Vince McMahon. When Vince has to do the work of two people in that regard, you know you're in trouble.

As for Jericho saying Jimmy Hart managed the Dream Team, I'm not entirely surprised that they'd miss that. Aside from the usual continuity errors that get past WWE editors (those fact-a-day calendars are really something else...), I believe Johnny V. is another guy on Vince's enemies list...and you know it never hurts to slight those guys.

Regardless, we LOVED the Bulldogs as kids...and seeing as this was the only time they won the WWF tag titles, this match still holds a lot of great memories for me. It was cool to see it last night.

I hope it's okay to add full Confidential thoughts here.

-APA & two 40 year-old women with the troops- Probably the two most senior divas visit the troops, but I must say don't care how old Ivory is she looked fantastic. Terri says how amazed she is by the Washington Redskins cheerleaders... Okay I'm a little cynical with these military segments, but I guess it was okay. Won points with the Ivory factor.

-SummerSlam Ad- Ha this is pretty funny. Pretty bizarre visual of having such a jacked up guy in his tights in the ocean. Hilarious having a wave coming from behind with the shark clipping Brock from behind.

-Outside The Ropes: Mysterio- This one wasn't very good, real paint by numbers. Questions were generic.

-Trish & Stacy go down under- But first footage of rest of the RAW superstars travels to Australia Most from Y2J to Goldust showed off their best Aussie accent(I'm sure the locals never get tired of that LoL). To my surprise Trish broke out one of the best accents of the bunch...

Speaking of Trish, she & Stacy goes on a tour of a zoo. The tour guide some Auzzie Blondie. The Koalas no-sold them "I guess he doesn't like blondes". Stacy orders an elephant to break a block of ice which after the elephant does it repeatedly, Tirsh says "ah he's just showing off now". They leave the zoo with matching tails hmmm. Then off they go for a dinner for 2 at the "Flaming Bull"(insert WWE joke), they were informed kangaroo is in the menu, but it's the evil kangaroo from the south so it's okay. They toasted, picked at eachothers food, came just short of feeding eachother. Sure it's a fluff piece, but with fluff like Trish & Stacy it's all good. Stacy's nice, but I thought Trish rocked. Funny line while complimenting the chief then she whispered and pointed off camera "He's standing right there" LoL

-Bundy vs. SD Jones- Before there was Albert vs. Orlando Jordan, there was this. Great pick by Y2J. 9 seconds of excellence. Jericho gives us a double shot with a less impressive match of... -British Bulldogs vs. Dream Team- Ha kidding, it was fantastic to see the Bulldogs again, the just very well be my favourite tag team of all time. Great match to watch again, heck I like Brutus Beffcake dont' care what anyone says, I was a fan of his, He looked good in that match I guess he's a guilty pleasure from the 80s. Wow ringside looked hectic. Ozzy is there and he looked.. weird, which I guess it's normal for him.

-Troops save a quarter- Some military personal give messages to loved ones... She ends on a somber note with Mean Gene giving the results of Elizabeth

I thought this show rocked. Bulldogs vs. Dream Team was a great match to watch again. Trish & Stacy day out was a cute segment. The Summerslam ad had some surprising amusing moments in it... The military stuff is really take it or leave it with me, Ivory's cool so it was okay. The Rey Q&A was the only stuff that seemed really filler to me. But all and all again one of my favourite WWE programs was entertaining.

That's the same person. Kathy Lee Crosby married Frank Gifford, and became Kathy Lee Gifford.

Kathy Lee Gifford and Cathy Lee Crosby are two different women.

I got this from a Kathy Lee Gifford website that had her "Bio":

< She was born Kathie Lee Epstein and appeared on "Name That Tune" under the name Kathie Lee Johnson. >

Dude, unless my sarcasm meter was somehow broken, I think you're wrong. Kathy Lee Gifford's maiden name was Johnson. Cathy Lee Crosby is a completely different person.

Actually her maiden name is Epstien, but that's hardly important as the fact that I got my K(c)athy Lee's crossed. But I swear that Kathy Lee Gifford did commentary at one of the Wrestlemanias.

According to iMDB, Kathie Lee Gifford was never a part of Wrestlemania. Doing a search on Google, though, you'll find plenty of other sites that claimed it was Gifford at Wrestlemania 2 and not Cathy Lee Crosby, so at least you're in good company. (As long as you have low standards for what constitutes good.)

Nope, but Regis did once.

And Mary Hart was at Wrestlemania III. She was the guest timekeeper for the Hogan/Andre match, and her and Bob Uecker did sit in during the Bulldogs/Santana v. Hart Foundation/Davis match.

And the three arenas led to a bunch of interesting commentary teams, but I don't think any of them compare to Jesse Ventura, Lord Alfred Hayes and Elvira.

Looks at the rest of SD Jones' career. Well, I guess that's the last 'From the Vault' for him.
