Ok, the original song parody man is back with a new album coming out this year. He has a freebie of one of the new tracks.

It's a parody of James Blunt - "You're Beautiful"

His version Weird Al - "You're Pitiful"

To get it go to his homepage and on the front page there are several direct download links to it. I'll post one here just in case you're lazy.

I like Weird Al, and maybe it's because I don't know the original song, but that track sucked. It was a boring song and the lyrics weren't funny. Al should've sped it up and added some polka to it or something. Not a good choice for an early release to promote his album.

Ken Kennedy debuted a new finisher: Jeff Hardy fans will insist on calling it the Swanton Bomb, but it looks WAY more devastating when not performed by a 180-pound fruitcake.

Weird Al has never been a very good singer, especially something high pitched like this. And I hate the James Blunt original. That said, listening to this did make me laugh.

Well, I for one liked it well enough (especially the beginning), and I thank you JWrestle for letting me know about the album.

As someone who quite dislikes the James Blunt song, this version was a welcome parody. I quite liked it.

I used to be on the Weird Al newsgroup (alt.music.weird-al), so I checked back there for old time sakes. Apparently, this has been out for two weeks, and it's a song that was originally going to be (but now isn't) on the album. The album was originally supposed to be out by June 27th, but it got delayed, due to some kind of hold-up with this song (which Al says was due to "silly record company politics").

Playlist for this week. [Insert something witty here]. I am renewing the show for Spring. In spite of Mondays being a horrible day to have this to do (and the weekends pretty full), I've found the show pretty cathartic.
