College:

I am kind of reluctant this week after the big LSU win last week. I will play Clemson +7 at Virginia Tech and also Alabama -3 at Florida. Nothing too big though.

Clemson is VT's first test, and I just don't think VT has the offense to win this game by 7. While I do think VT's defense is extremely solid, I feel like Clemson's offense can muster 17 points on it, and if that happens, VT shouldn't score 24.

Florida has been winning by outspeeding people, but against Alabama's #1 ranked defense, the speed difference won't be as big. If Bama can limit Rainey, they should win big.

NFL:

I am still clueless in the NFL. Maybe the Titans as a PK in Cleveland? Giants -1 in Arizona? The electrifying Raiders +5 in front of a raucous home crowd vs the Pats?

I just don't know. Has anyone been winning on the NFL this year? I could use some help.

Take Green Bay at home against Denver. Also, Buffalo over Cincinnati.

Life is hilariously cruel.

Clemson is one of the holy troika, with Michigan State and Georgia, of they will screw up teams.
Leaning towards a 3 team this weekend based more on the team I'm going against than with, with Penn State -14.5 over Indiana, Notre Dame -12 against Purdue and Stanford -20.5 against UCLA.

Penn State needs to decide on a QB because the offense is dysfunctional.
Ohio State didn't look like they could score in a whore house.
Wisconsin might be the best team in the country in the non LSU/Alabama division.
Have to be impressed after seeing Clemson go through a tough 3 game stretch with a blowout at Va. Tech.

That is the Notre Dame team, I expected to see all season even with the missed FGs. I took Syracuse and Nebraska for my Vegas poll, not good choices. Proves The Vegas knew something about Nebraska or Wisconsin, I didn't. And now the SEC only has two undefeated which makes the inevitable LSU/Alabama game more important.

Don't say that to QB coach Jay Paterno. He'll bite your head off and then write a rambling online newspaper column about how real fans don't question the regime. Hope you took Indiana with the points. Never take Penn State to cover. The Penn State-Ohio State game in November may be a 2-0 win for Ohio State [and probably the second-to-last regular season game of the Paterno era].

Love the adjustments that Alabama and Wisconsin made to blow close games open. Alabama/LSU is going to be fun to watch, and Wisconsin should steamroll through the Big Ten, with probably their only real test left before the inaugural Big Ten Championship game being vs. Illinois.

It was more of an anti-Indiana pick than a pro Penn State, and if Penn State could have played poorly on offense it would have been a cover.

Yeah I had hopes Clemson was still Clemson and would lose a couple starting with this weekend. Now I'm just hoping they go undefeated so my team looks good for almost taking them out. Bleh.

Ohio State is horrid on offense. Wisconsin will roll through the Big 10. Still can't believe NC State kicked Wilson to the curb. Now they suck and Wisconsin finally after all these years has to be taken seriously.

If Brantly is hurt bad, the Gators are done. That was a pathetic second half.

Polamalu isn't necessarily out for those games. The thought was that if Pittsburgh beat the Jets to nearly clinch everything, they could rest Polamalu for the rest of the regular season through the bye. Steelers will roll Carolina.
