CBS wins the week with highest total viewers,
ABC scores most 18-49 viewers...aka "see last week"

"WWE Homecoming," the first episode of "Monday Night RAW" on USA finished #4 (Tied) (Hour 2) and #8 (Hour 3) for the week in the basic cable ratings. Football (college and pro) and baseball rounded out the Top 10 with the two hours of "RAW" being the only non-ESPN/ESPN2 show to place. For the week, Spike dropped to 10th in prime time, while USA rose to a tie for 2nd with Disney - only ESPN had a higher rating, but they SMOKED everybody else - 3.1 vs. 1.8.

"Sex, Love & Secrets" (UPN) showed why a mercy killing is in order, registering a dismal 1.1 rating for the hour. Contrast to "WWE SmackDown!" which averaged a 2.4 over their two hours.

Thoughts About My Favorite Shows:

-Arrested Development: UP to 2.5 (5 share) from 2.4 (4 share)
-Gilmore Girls: UP to 3.7 & 4.0 (6 share) from 3.6 & 4.0 (6 share)
-My Name Is Earl: UP 8.6 (13 share) from 7.2 (11 share)
-The Office: UP 5.5 (8 share) from 4.7 (7 share)
-Lost: DOWN 12.9 & 13.3 (20 share) from 13.4 & 14.0 (20/21 share)
-Smallville: UP 3.3 & 3.8 (5/6 share) from 3.2 & 3.7 (5/6 share)

Ah, the power of word of mouth. Smallville's season premiere was actually GOOD, NBC's Tuesday night hour of power is getting critical acclaim and AD is getting a promotional blitz from FOX...and interrupted by baseball.

I'm glad Chandler and Britton got nominated but how do you have a best lead actor candidate and a best lead actress candidate and not have a best drama candidate? Mad Men was the only other show with both. I like Glee. It's a nice little show.
