Up at the top of the screen, you all have Views: 14385824 (as I type this) and HomerJFong (?) is the Ten Millionth Hit.
Is a view different from a hit?
I as this because I'm analyzing the stats for my board on it's own subdomain and I have this from my logs (well, the AWstats, I can also use Analog and Webalizer)
Unique Visitors: 195 (I assume that this just means I've had 195 different IPs, because I only have 20 members, and half of them have dialup, and also visit from work)
Number of Visits: 648
Pages: 23828
Hits: 158879
Sooooooooo...What is a "good" measure of my traffic? Visits, Pages, or Hits?
-------------------
Edit, while I'm on the subject, Webalizer, Analog, and Awstats give me different #s for the different stats. If anyone has used 2 or more, do you have a prefrence for one or the other?

I'm very lazy and use them interchangably, but I'm talking about pageviews all the time. "Hits" technically would include all graphical elements, for example - so all those people that brag about millions of hits usually are counting a lot of things that aren't pages.

I've used both Webalizer and Analog in the past, but now I use AXS exclusively for all of my sites.
Did you change what happens when you click on a random quote? I seem to recall when it first came out it would go directly to that post. Now it just goes to the top of the thread that the quote was in. Or maybe I'm crazy. EDIT: Ah I see.
