Who cares about two WWE shows competing? Having two different wrestling companies competing against each other is the only way people will take it seriously. I'm thinking that the final touches of the change over to Raw Is WCW will occur on the 500th episode, which I believe is in December or January. They should keep the Raw name, however. It would be even more demeaning to the McMahons if the show is WCW Raw, than if it's WCW Nitro. Raw is the WWE's franchise after all.

As for Shane's warning about Bisch, I am guessing he sold the WCW name and video library to Bisch in the storyline. Bisch could also claim to have a contract that states the only way he loses his job is if he quits himself (similar to what HBK had when he was Commish).

As for PPV's: WCW should have six and WWE should have six.
WWE:Royal Rumble(Jan),WrestleMania(March), KOTR(May),SummerSlam(July),Fully Loaded(Sept),and Survivor Series(Nov).
WCW:SuperBrawl(Feb),Spring Stampede(April), Slamboree(June),BashAtTheBeach(Aug),Halloween Havoc(Oct),and Starrcade(Dec).
UK:Insurrextion(WCW) and Rebellion(WWE).

Maybe, Bisch would fire JR and The King on the 500th episode as well, since they represented WWF during the years WCW and WWF were at war. He could bring in DDP and Cole from Smackdown. JR could do Smack with Tazz and hopefully The King would just go away.

Bisch could also have the IC and Tag champs dump their titles in the trash on the episode. They would be replaced with the US and WCW tag belts. After all, it was the US and WCW Tag Champs that won in the unification bouts at last year's Survivor Series. Steph could then resurrect the IC and Tag belts on Smack with tournaments.

You know....that makes sense! Mind you, Vince's ego would never let WCW ever show up on TV again...after all, look at how it was buried during the Alliance angle?

This is what they're building to, if possibly on a smaller scale. Still, how long until we get Raw Girls?

EDIT: Or did we have those last week during The Totally Necessary Musical Performance?

Anything would be better than the constant boredom that occurs in the arena when WWE goes to commercial. I don't think I can do TV tapings anymore because of it(and the lack of wrestling). Anyway, bringing in Raw Girls (ala Nitro Girls, not the ring card girls WWF used to have back in the day) would probably be a good move.

You know, I thought this idea was ridiculous at first, but it's looking more and more like it HAS to happen (or something similar).

Evidence:
The Smackdown brand calls its champion the WWE Heavyweight Champion. Now, Stephanie announced in the first three seconds of Smackdown that the tag titles created for SD are to be called the WWE Tag Team Championships.

So, if Smackdown's titles are called WWE championships and Raw's have no federation affiliation, we can assume that SOMETHING is going to replace that WWE. WCW seems unlikely as it was buried during the invasion, but ECW seems unlikely since Heyman is on Smackdown (though he could move).

The point is, SOMETHING is going to change on Raw, I guarandamntee it.

Well, here's an idea. Let's play Pick Three Letters and Make Them Work Together. I'll start.

CJE

Ouch. Um...Compltely Juiced up Entertainers

Then it really WOULD be the Triple H Show!

WAJ

the World According to J.....J. Dillon!

He always looked so official

FHS

Full of Holy Shit....moments

It's a 2-hour TLC match every week!

TAF

These Are Fun

Yes, I did make that last one up. Have fun.

You know, one of these days Chris Jericho is going to beat Triple H cleanly in the center of the ring with a perfectly fine count. At that time, the planet Mars shall turn purple, Haley's comet shall become a nightly observation, and the Internet will not be happy.

I'm thinking the following:

* Brock fires Heyman/Heyman quits.
* Heyman jumps and restarts ECW.
* Viacom has Vince brutally beaten for putting ECW on TNN again, just when they thought they had killed it.

Then again, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

There is a reason things die and WCW's time has passed. Let it go. If Raw does become Nitro on the 500th show, I will less then pleased. Nitro was a crappy show and to have them through that name on a show that is just now finding a steady audience, its just wrong. Raw needs to stay Raw and Smackdown needs to stay put. I say end the split at Wrestlemania or before that so it doesn't screw-up the Royal Rumble.

You know what the ironic thing is? If my calculations are correct, then the 500th episode of RAW will be on Dec. 23, barring any pre-emptions. Granted, since Christmas is on a Wed., the 23rd will probably be a normal working day, but what are the chances of getting less than your normal 3.6 rating?

According to www.tvtome.com/ , there were 191 episodes of WWF Monday Night Raw, which ran from 1993-1996. Since becoming known as Raw Is War (which it isn't anymore anyway), there have been 299 additional episodes. The one on Monday in Las Vegas will be #491. According to that information, the 500th episode will be December 9th, which is a much more hospitable time. But I'll bet only WWE is sure of what the 500th episode is.

My calculations correlate with Mr. Shh...Dec. 23. I know that June 24 was episode #474, and counting up from there gives me Dec. 23 for #500

I know I'm a little late on this, but I'm tired of seeing people be wrong.

My own "count" is based on official episode numbers, which sometimes are included in TV listings online and elsewhere.

For instance, here's a link to my local Yahoo! TV listing for TNN LAST night - please note that that's a pretty plain and clear "#489" in the listing. As has been noted, #500 will be 23.12 barring any surprise pre-emptions.

I'm afraid WCW is truly dead. *However*, Nitro is not. And unless my guess is off, that's what the WWE writers are thinking. The titles on Steph's show are referred to as WWE titles. Raw's are the "World" titles. Isn't that how WCW referred to their titles? The World Television champion? How much you want to bed that even if the IC belt gets blended into the World title, that Steph resurrects it a couple months down the line as a part of Smackdown? And as soon as she does, you know Bischoff's either got the US or TV belt waiting in the wings to replace the IC title on Raw/Nitro. And I like the every other ppv idea too. So at the start of 2003, look for a brand new era in Monday nights.
WWE Monday Night Nitro!
World Champion
US or Television(I'd go with this one) champion
World Tag Team Champions
Women's World champion

Keep JR and King, because let's face it, they are the voices of Monday Night wrestling. And I'm all for the return of the Nitro Girls. Keep the rosters the way they are(ok, maybe send Hurricane back to Smackdown), and there you go.

It's all because of guys like HBK, and Foley...face it, without the BIG BUMP, the HIAC is just a bigger cage match, with a roof on it. Except the name is supposedly more intimidating (especially when it's repeated Max Headroom style,"HELL(Hell)!
