***I was debating whether or not this should be "Movies & TV" but it's more for the theater itself so I put it here***

The Towne Cinema in Watertown, WI is turning 100 this year, I've been on a few dates there back in the day, and members of our family still take their kids there. They do $3 tickets all the time, even for first run movies.

With 35mm film distribution going by the wayside in the next year or so, they're facing extinction. They've started a KickStarter campaign and I thought that I'd do my part to spread it out of local circles.

Here's the short URL to the campaign:

Go ahead and take a look, it gives a little history of the theater as well.

I grew up down the road in Oconomowoc, and we had our own pair of local theaters that disappeared. I'd hate to see another one gone.

I quite dislike multi megaplex cinemas. Good luck with your campaign. I wish you the best of luck.

I can't, no matter how much i try, get damn Windows 98 to go to 256 colors. Every time i apply it goes straight to 16 again. I've restarted this damn computer a hundred times. I'm thinking it may be a video card problem...but i dunno...
