The string "7/14/08" refers to Monday when Y2K isn't breaking your computer, but it ALSO refers to the release date of D.W. Griffith's "The Adventures of Dollie." You got 12:28 to spare, right? Head over to the Facets blog (facetsfeatures.blogspot.com) for a Youtube link and save whatever the cost of admission was back in 1908. (At LEAST half a penny)

Miyazaki won the animated feature for 'Spirited Away' a few years ago, so his genius is certainly on Oscar's radar screen. I'd say that Wallace & Gromit probably wins the animated award, but I'd love to see Tim Burton up there.
