I had a lot of baseball logos suggested to me but really, there could be only one. Design by ME!

This is even better than the Woolco one from last month.

Finally, a coherent use of the Montreal Expos logo.

And now that I see it used as a 'W' I finally understand something I've wondered for most of my near 28 years...i.e. the answer to the question, "WTF is the expos logo supposed to be, anyway?"

Why, it's an 'M' for Montreal with an 'e' for Expos!

(Yes, I am a sad muppet.)

I always thought it was a red 'e', a white 'l' and a blue 'b' and that was french-canadian for 'Expos'

That stuck with me for YEARS and never thought twice about it until about a year ago, when I discovered it was a red, white, and blue 'M'.

I would have to say the EXACT SAME THING.

(And I can now that I know I'm not the only one.)

Actually, you might've thought right. I read elsewhere that the elb stands for "Expos Love Baseball".

I have learned so much about the wonders and mysteries of the Expos logos from this thread. Kudos, CRZ and crew!

Although I hate to see any Wiener-love towards a team owned by Bud Selig (grrr) and MLB...and that's coming from a Brewers fan.

316 316 316 This tie also looks like a home ec project. No tags, a little skinnier than "normal," made from one piece of fabric but with a lovely seam all around. Ummmmm that's it.
