SOK's NOTES:
I had the "honour" of listening to the 50 Cent album recently; never have I heard more sex, violence, anddrug talk in my life. If I could buy that album for half a dollar, and I'd still feel ripped off.

I dislike Darryl Worley's "Have You Forgotten?" song, but it's not the worst out of the trifecta patriotism songs, including Alan Jackson and Toby Keith. Alan's song is a snorefest, and Toby's grates on my eardrums. This one...ug. Just that. Ug.

Lordy lordy...what have I done? Engagement? The horror!

BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST: The Darkness and Rooney. I can't get "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" out of my head, and I also dig "Blueside."

WORST COVER SONG/PARODY: Clay Aiken and limpbizkit (or however Fred decided to spell it this week).

BEST COVER SONG/PARODY: Cash/Strummer and Me First.

MOST OVERPLAYED SONG: Evanescence and Good Charlotte.

COMPILATION/SOUNDTRACK: "Kill Bill" and "School of Rock." I can't tell you how many times I've listened to "Kill Bill." I love the flamenco version of "Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood."

WORST MUSIC VIDEO: Gotta pass, having never seen any of these (thank goodness).

BEST MUSIC VIDEO: "Hurt" and "Move Your Feet."

WORST SONG: "American Life" and "Have You Forgotten?"

BEST NONSINGLE: Pass.

BEST SINGLE: "Take It Off" and "Hey Ya!" Shake it, shake-shake it, shake it, uh-oh!

WORST ARTIST: Clay Aiken and Metallica. I make clear that this is Metallica from this year. Old school Metallica, I dig.

ARTIST OF THE YEAR: Johnny Cash and Outkast.

WORST ALBUM "Results May Vary" and "St. Anger."

ALBUM OF THE YEAR: "UnEarthed" and "Speakerboxxx/The Love Below."

HALL OF FAME NOMINEES: The Clash, Nine Inch Nails, and the Stones.

Mmmm... Ashley Judd. The perfect woman. 1) Absolutely gorgeous. 2) Loves UK basketball. 3) Was on Star Trek. What more can you ask for?
