(i kinda got the feeling that the discussion on the jay and silent bob thread would go this route)

| #2 Posted on 2.3.02 0516.17 | I just watched The Holy Grail last night off of Kazaa. I love it, but my wife was horrified that I was laughing at the Black Knight getting hacked up. I guess it's hard for her to get British humor since she is Japanese. To me the funniest movie of all time is, Friday. And only the first time I saw it. Horror movies and Comedies are only really good the first time you see it. Unless you wait a few years before you see it again (like I did Holy Grail). Honorable mention goes to Dumb and Dumber and Something About Mary.

I know how that is. I wore a Black Knight T-shirt to Korean class and the teacher thought it was a horror movie.
As for my favorite funny movie, that'd have to be "The Pink Panther Returns" (Peter Sellers is god) for slapstick and Neil Simon's "Murder by Death" for intellectual humor.

It's the only thing Streisand has ever done that I could stomach, and it's still to me the funniest movie in the history of the world.

Q: If you could have interviewed Marvin Gaye, where would you have proposed to meet and what would you have asked him?
A: I would have met anywhere as long as it was before his father shot him. I would have asked him, "Hey, don't you think there's some chance that your father might shoot you? To death, I mean?"

| #20 Posted on 4.3.02 0936.34 | I gotta go with "Tommy Boy". Heck, I'm cracking up thinking about it even as I type this.
"John Hancock? It's *Herbie* Hancock." "Do you know where the weight room is? I'll check it out." "Richard, is there a mark on my face?"
Chris Farley and David Spade are awesome in that movie, as are Brain Dennehy, Rob Lowe, and Dan Aykroyd.
I also think "Black Sheep" was very funny. (Hello, Washington!) And no one has mentioned "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" yet.
Oh, "Wayne's World", both "Austin Powers" movies and anything by the Farrelly Brothers except "Say It Isn't So" and anything by Kevin Smith. (as previously mentioned) | | Pages: 1 2 3 Next
