I thought the first cd of Songs from an American Movie was pretty damned good, but boy oh boy did that second one suck. I was duped into thinking I was buying a quality follow up so soon after the first came out and was all too dissapointed by it. As much as I like EverClear I'm hesitant to buy a new cd without hearing some of the new stuff up front.
Treasure Planet ruled all kinds of ass. And yes, I do work for Disney but its good anyhoo.
I've only been able to find a 30 second clip but it sounds intriguing, at the very least somewhat of a return to form. Nothing can be worse than "Learning How To Smile" and the God-awfulness that was "Wonderful." Hopefully this'll be a rebound, since "Good Time For A Bad Attitude" was pretty good but tried WAY too hard to "rock."
Sweet review. For the record, Skratch Bastid co-produced Buck's latest album and was pretty much the biggest name in DJs in Halifax (and much of Canada) for the last few years. Mind, we in Hal-town all got sick of, "Skratch Bastid: FINAL SHOW!!
