I'm guessing it has something to do with the TBS timeslot and the Georgia Territory. Vince got the timeslot and a foothold into Georgia when Brisco jumped ship, and I think Crockett had to pay off Vince for the timeslot and to replace the WWF in the Omni, as the NWA didn't run in Atlanta during the year that Vince had TBS. Its only a guess, but in Vince's (warped) version of the world, that could explain how he sold the NWA to Crockett.

I feel like a moron, because, if true, I don't remember ever hearing about this. Anybody have any more info on this claim?
(short version) Vince bought the Georgia promtion, that's how he ended up on WTBS. Later, he sold the timeslot to Jim Crockett for $1 million.
You are very lucky to have met Benoit and Guerrero. I mean, those two were in the ring hating each other hours before and now they are in the same gas station???? What is going on? Did they make up and become friends again after the show?
