Okay, so this is my work computer, and it's a little worrisome...I'd say about once a day, I would get a full screen pop up advertising a retail store, or anti-virus software, or something. It's not related to any specific website, and sometimes just happens for no reason. Today, a pornographic one popped up, freaking me out completely.
I think it's something resident in my memory, that I can't get rid of via clearing files or cache. I haven't done anything like to go to an adult website with this computer, so I don't know where that would have come from.
I am wondering if anyone has any advice before I inevitably have to call the internal help desk and have my web surfing scrutinized(which would involve nothing illicit, though I have spent many an afternoon doing nothing but surfing).
I agree. The way some of us Americans use the English language is just too damn imprecise for my taste. It bugs me when I'm thinking something, but don't really have the means to express it in words without rambling on like an idiot. ...
