Referred to me by the ACW-NWA WI board:

Cambodian Troops Quarantine Quan'sul (BBC News)

Cambodia says they wanna use this new virus for beneficial research...but Condi Rice ain't happy, and wants it destroyed NOW.

Hoo boy.

I'm a little loathe to believe this, as the link uses an IP address, not the domain name, and I think the Beeb uses .stm files on their site, not .htm. But if it is fake, it's done quite well.

(It's not on the Asia-Pacific section's front page, either.)

I doubt it's real either, but a little part of me gets excited thinking about the reality of being holed up in a farm house with a sawed off shotgun and a chainsaw.

Bring on them zombies!

It is fake. If you go through the actual BBC News website, you won't find the story.

And the fact that the rest of the page in the South Asia section discusses Syria and Lebanon...
