This is the only mainstream media thing I've seen about it, but ProFootballTalk has been buzzing about Vince Young's alleged score of six on the Wonderlic test all weekend. Six, for those unfamiliar with the Wonderlic, is a horrific score, particularly for a QB. Average QB score is closer to 20-25.

They're openly questioning whether this could be a coverup to save Young and the University of Texas some embarrassment.

If teams are focusing on a Wonderlic score and not on the evidence of how he can play at hand (see his college career and Rose Bowl game), they may miss a chance to draft a potential All Pro.

And the Wonderlic gives coaches an idea of how quick a player can pick up the system. You can't win in the NFL on athleticism alone, especially at QB.

And if it was graded wrong, it would be really easy to prove that by SHOWING the wrong grading. By not coming clean with HOW it was graded wrong, one tends to think that the NFL is covering its a$$ and protecting its farm system.
