OK, last month, we all thought Vinnie Roo was back in the WWF. Now, NWA:TNA has a post on their site saying, he just joined THEIR staff. What the hell happened? Did the WWF rehire him then fire him on his *first* day on the job? You'd also think they'd mention that on their website (being that they went to the trouble of mentioning the hiring). This whole situation befuddles me. We can only hope this is all a part of one big, all-encompassing "Shoot Angle to End All Shoot Angles" (sarcasm alert).

Now, the NWA is reforming itself with the worst of WCW.
I think I must say, wrestling promotions are not companies. They are philosophies in booking. Just like any philosophy, it will change over time, and can be discredited, but will never die. A promotion may fold, but its influence remains, as long as its philosophy is strong, and profitable, and the promotion lives on.
And so it is with NWA.
WCW IS DEAD! LONG LIVE WCW!
(You see what Russo does to a rational mind?)

Yeah what the fuck is going on these days? didn't 1Bob report a while back that jerry jarrett didn't like any of russo's ideas and that's why he wasn't working for them? and now he hires him?
considering the fact that tna just signed jasmin st. claire, i anxiously await the "double-ended dildo-on-a-pole" match that russo no doubt has lined up for her.

The idiocy of the idea that the WWF would spend countless thousands courting Russo, only to let him loose again boggles my fragile mind.
BRAIN...EXPLODING...
ARGH! Ah well...at least we won't have to deal with Russo Booking anymore...hopefully.

I've watched NWA the last few weeks, and frankly, the product is good. Also, I hope that this means Russo's book comes out as well, as I would be interested to actually read a full on account of what actually goes on backstage. I don't dislike the guy. The worst of WCW booking wasn't really his doing. Although some will argue differently. But, really I have no problem with Russo. More power to him wherever he goes. If hje goes to NWA and it sucks, I'll quit watching. But, I seriously doubt that'll happen.
An open letter to Andrew Gilkison from me: Sir, I am no longer pleased with your product and thus will not read it. I am the consumer and your product is not living up to my expectations. I could open up an Andrew Gilkison message board and cry about it, but that's a waste of my time. In the meantime, I would suggest you work on improving your product. Thank you.
Watching RAW and Smackdown doesn't cost anymore than your posts do. And so, like a good consumer, I'm tuning you out.
Originally posted by PhilRippaI am including the link to Meltzer's report at the end of this post but basically - Russo never actually signed a WWE contract.
And since Russo is supposedly not going to be the booker or head writer - the company might last more than other two weeks.
Well, Why there a welcome back party for Russo on wwe.com for one whole week? I was assuming the WWE was paying Russo to sit on the sofa and call in once a week. How could you turn that down?
Thing is, I think the mere mention of Russo's name scared the crap out of the WWF writers, especially RAW. Raw was markedly better the last couple of weeks, until last night. What a trainwreck!!

Why? Because of the quality so far, or because you don't want to financially support the company that lets Russo lose upon the world again?

It doesn't suck that bad. Nothing bad has happened yet. Good lord, it's not the end of the world. And if you haven't seen an NWA show, that's your loss because they've been GOOD.
I'll bitch when the product's bad. Period.

Yep, I agree Deion. Plus, he's not even the head writer. Jerry Jarrett is. I don't see what it hurts to have another guy with a boatload of experience on your creative staff. Yeah, he's written some really stupid stuff, but he's also written some really good stuff. It's the kind of risk a company like this has to take, and I, for one, as a fan of NWATNA, am glad they are willing to do it.
A letter from Jerry Jarrett , at the NWA - TNA site , to all concerned fans on his discision to bring in Russo . Interesting letter , plus it tells what old JJ Dillion has been up to these days .
