GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Ramsey County announced a partnership with the Minnesota Vikings on Monday for a new stadium in Arden Hills.

The site of the stadium would be the former Twin Cities Army Ammunitions Plant property. The agreement calls for an $884 million stadium and an additional $173 million for on-site infrastructure, parking and environmental costs.

21,000 parking spaces? GOOD GOD! At probably $15-25 per event, that will add up quickly.

As a Packer fan I had hoped that the Vikings would move to Los Angeles. I'm crestfallen that it didn't happen. Congrats Viking fans. Now I'm hoping the increased stadium revenue doesn't help your team win though.

Vikes would have been a fun trainwreck to have here if Favre was coming back, but their QB situation looks to be terrible, so the L.A. Vikings wouldn't have been any fun to suffer through.

Now the Los Angeles Jaguars? That's a team I can root for!

I don't think you're support to root for your enemy's permanent annihilation. You're supposed to be rivals who war forever in a mobius strip of hatred. The pain of team loss is a hurt to be wished on no one.

Agreed. What will all the angels do when the devil has been saved?

The battle must continue into eternity. Otherwise, the NFL probably would've put the L.A. Vikings into the NFC West & moved the St. Louis Rams into the NFC North. And that would've been weird.

The thing I am most curious about with all these scenarios is what is going to happen to Kansas. If Baylor worms its way into the new Pac-10 at Colorado's expense, could we see a pretty frickin' sweet Mountain West with...
