I just realized that while I find it impossible to memorize things dealing with my classes, I can still recall the codes to turn on blood from Mortal Kombat on the Genesis,(ABACABB, or DULLARD).

Anyone else have any old game codes burned into their memory taking up valuable space?

There are people whose last words on their deathbeds will be "Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start."

(Even if Konami did get sneaky and make that a self-destruct code by the time Chatting Parodius came out.)

Of course I'll always remember the Konami Code, but I've also got a Ninja Turtles II Stage Select code trapped in my head. B-A-B-A-Up-Down-B-A-B-A-Left-Right-B-A-B-A-Start...

I'm also pretty sure that 6x circle, R1, L2, L1, Triangle, Circle, Triangle will stay in my head for a long time, because filling a city block with tanks rules.

For me, it'll be a few old Genesis codes.

Up, Down, Left, Right, A+Start.

19, 65, 09, 17. 4, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 4.

DULLARD.

Hold Right, press L,R,X,B,Y,A
and

It's certainly not a code, but I have immense confidence that I still have the timing required to gain an awful lot of 1Ups in the Original Mario World for NES in level 3-1.

Oh, and of course the Mortal Kombat and GTA3 codes.

A bit offtopic, but in San Diego there was a restaurant chain called Oscars up until two years ago, when the owner changed the name to Pat and Oscar's to recognize his wife's involvement with the company. It may be the company you are looking for?
