The card does not blow me away, but there are several matches that could be really good.
Gauntlet-Style Ultimate X to be X Division #1 contender: Kaz vs. Jay Lethal vs. Christopher Daniels vs. Homicide vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Shark Boy vs. Puma (!) vs. Elix Skipper (!!) plus two TBA: (One of the mystery guys will be the winner of Saturday night's 3-way between Senshi, Petey Williams, and Jerry Lynn. Why do those three guys have to fight for a spot, while Shark Boy just waltzes in? BAH.) Daniels wins thanks to a XXX reunion!
OLD SCHOOL VS. NEW SCHOOL - Jerry Lynn & Mr. Backlund vs. Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley: Man, it has to be MCMG, right? Right?
Eric Young & Gail Kim vs. Robert Roode & Ms. Brooks: I'm pretty sure this feud is over, so I'm not sure why they're still fighting. Roode wins and moves up the card.
Sting & Abyss vs. AJ Styles & Tomko: Abyss wins. Could be good -- Abyss & Styles have done some pretty great stuff in the past.
Chris Harris vs. Christian Cage: Cage, due to interference from the coalition; feud continues.
Rhino vs. James Storm: No contest, or Rhino by DQ, or something like that.
Voodoo Kin Mafia are promising a "surprise" for TNA Knockout Christy Hemme: Hello, Chyna!
MATCH OF CHAMPIONS – EVERY TNA CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE LINE TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle and X Division Champion Samoa Joe vs. TNA World Tag Team Champions Team 3D: Kurt and Joe get simultaneous pins on 3D; Cornette says that they must hold the Tag belts together!
(edited by Karlos the Jackal on 14.7.07 1540) Last 5 movies seen: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End *** - The Astronaut Farmer *** - The Sting **** - Mulan *** - Best Foot Forward ***1/2
So Raw would then have the Tag division and the Hardcore division, along with a few general "Main eventers." Smackdown would get the Cruisers, the Women, and the IC-level folks. I could live with that.
