If Vickie wants to spend more time with her family, then let her do it. Any non-biased wrestling fan knows that the schedule from the WWE is hectic and always moving.

I thought for the time when she was GM for Smackdown and Raw, she did a good job and a much better job than I initially predicted when she first became GM on Smackdown. She was a good heel GM as she made the crowd react to 2 simple words (Excuse Me!).

Now the question or debate remains if Raw needs another GM or are they going to be self-ran. If another GM comes to take the throne, who would it be or who would be most suited? Regal was doing good as GM before failing the wellness policy awhile back. Could Flair do it? There is quite the debate now of what or who should fill in the now vacant Raw GM position.

Flair as GM would be a good choice, and though he'd be more involved in storylines than Teddy or Tiffany are, I much prefer having a face GM who just makes matches than go through another tired 'era' of a heel general manager out to screw all the top faces for no particular reason.

Vickie did an overall outstanding job on WWE TV. The first year of her 'married to Edge' gimmick was top-notch heel work.

Kirk, crackers are a family food. Happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.

Considering she had no acting experience before, she evolved quickly to become a fantastic heel character. She got a big opportunity, and she stepped up.

I really wish it would be:

A) A Jack Tunney/Sgt. Slaughter type - only coming out for big angles. Or

B) The Million Dollar Man, having bought his way in, protecting Legacy, and Teddy in particular, bringing in Mike, maybe even going all-Boss Hogg/Don Corleone. He could set up an entire network of corrupt wrestlers, or wrestlers who owe him favors, which he calls in for titles and such.

Must. stop. fantasy. booking!

Sting would be an interesting choice. So would Randy Savage. Arn Anderson would have some potential.

But other than someone completely off the radar like those three... eh.

It's been done.

The "evil boss meddling in the lives of the wrestlers" was old after the first few years of the Austin/McMahon feud. Fast forward 10 years, and it's almost a chiche.

We have not seen Eric Bischoff in some time. Does he still work for WWE?

Anyway it may not be what you want but there is always Steph. to fill the spot.

He does not...in fact, he recently turned down participating in the "Rise and Fall of WCW" DVD project.

Read it and weep, fella

I was marveling just last night at how awesome of a heel Vicki is. For not having ever been a real actress or wrestler, she sure "gets it". She will be missed

That is a shame. How do you do that DVD without EB?

Maybe piecing together previous interviews from the Monday Night Wars DVD and other interviews he's done for the company?

Believe me, Flair can give us more than enough material on this one, having been through each one of WCW's moronic phases. Can't wait to hear him rail about what an idiotic idea it was to have Vince Russo shave his head.

In regards to Vickie, I was a believer that she never should have been on TV to begin with, since it just felt too weird booing the widow of one of wrestling's most beloved stars of the decade. She made it ok to boo her, so she did a great job on that end. And nice to see someone realizing that her character has pretty much run its course.

... but isn't that the way that Eddie would have played it? It's kind of a shame we never got to see them work together. She built a great character that can always return in the future and add to the fact she was probably able to build a nice nest egg for the family, who could blame her?

They use Linda McMahon for that function.

Sorry, I don't go to pwinsider. After viewing it I can see why. I know people need ad money for the internet, but that is ridiculous.

I would say Flair as GM is the sound way to go since Raw is going to be in Charlote this Monday. I hope we get a tournament for the belt instead of HHH/Orton that night for the title. Flair as GM would work well if only Jericho was there to egg him on about his need for the spotlight. Oh well, I expect Miz to bring it up. I just hope we don't get insane Flair like he was in WCW when he got power. Once was enough of that.

The WCW DVD will have Goldberg which should be very interesting. I think Eric has had enough of Vince or at least it seemed like it in the awesome wrestling round table show they did for Ondemand. I dropped Comcast, is that show still going on?

Vickie was fine at what she did, but I hope this is finally the time to break away from the "evil authority figure", which only makes a stale raw that much worse and formulaic. Time to try something else. Like, maybe just booking the matches with the understanding that "this is what the fans want to see".

They did try that with Adamle, but he was in over his head. I agree that the evil GM has got to be shelved for now, maybe in exchange for an autonomous showman.

Dear God I miss Mike Adamle. I would jump from my chair and be full of joy if he returned on Monday night.

It's kind of a shame we never got to see [Vickie and Eddie] work together.

I know you mean heel Vickie, but they did do TV together during the feud with Rey over Dominick. Vickie even interfered in their ladder match (and almost blew out Eddie's knee pulling him off the dangly belt).

Maybe they will set up an American Idol type text message voting system for the next week's show. That would be...super.

After seeing crazy Flair as President of WCW and Flair's run as co-owner of the WWF, culminating in the night Arn Anderson got a 'golden shower' from Austin, I'd pass on Flair as GM. I know Bockwinkle was somewhat effective in the figurehead position in WCW in the mid 90's, but it doesn't suit Flair. Just to top Mike Adamle for material, give it to Steve Lombardi.
