The PETA Files: PETA's Statement on Eagles Vick signing
PETA and millions of decent football fans around the world are disappointed that the Philadelphia Eagles have chosen to sign a man who hanged dogs from trees, electrocuted them with jumper cables, held them underwater until they drowned in his swimming pool, and even threw his own family dogs into the fighting pit to be torn to shreds while he laughed. What sort of message does this send to young fans who care about animals and don't want to see them be harmed?
Because a guy who's already served his debt to society shouldn't be allowed to make a living.
Decent football fans? PETA does realize that Vick signed with the Eagles, whose fans probably would perform ritual sacrifices of the family pet in honor of Vick if it involved winning a Super Bowl.
I think you give Eagles fans too much credit. Not winning Super Bowls hasn't stopped them from being obnoxious assholes thus far. | | Pages: Prev 1 2
