Rey and Jericho was a good match, may me miss WCW and Victoria was hot as hell. When she was on the top turnbuckle and had Trish for that second she had a sexy look (yes I like Victoria) she was smoken hot.
Great Muta is a wrestling GOD!! praise the Great Muta.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know who the band was after Madden was announced as GOTY, and/or what song they played? It sounded familiar.
Back in the Mud by Bubba Sparxx. I just downloaded it because I thought it sounded familiar. After listening to it for a while I realized that College Gameday used the song (or the music, they changed the lyrics) throughout the season.
Andrew WK sang after the Matrix game won.

How to Make the Wienerboard a Better Place, Chapter 1: Just because you can't spell "Heidenreich", doesn't make you clever.Yeah, 'twas Bubba Sparxxx after Madden won. Sleepy Brown and Travis from Blink 182 assisting. It's the last song on his new album, Deliverance.
Anyone know how Andrew WK broke his foot? He was doing his damnedest to be his usual self, in spite of being wheelchair-bound... might have to resurrect the Party Hard wallpaper.
Pike: Sure that wasn't because she was teasing pulling Trish's pants off? 'Twas a nice match, though.
It was allright for an award show..although some categories were suspect...especially the most anticipated game...WTF, an award for a game that's not even finished! DMX reaaaly had the crowd pump...damn, i haven't seen an award act like that in a long time, even you could see the lipsynch miles away, but the energy was incredible.
I like the Pre-award show. I'm a mark for the MXC guys, so them doing voice over. Even on lame stuff is funny. I also got a real big kick out of the 4 Stages of Video Games. We had Atari, then NES/Sega Master System, then Super Nintendo/Genesus, and finally Video games of today. I thought it was a very cool look back at some clips of video games from my youth... Also got Jericho and Trish goodness as they were playing Vice City, Zelda and Madden. They were pretty funny. Asking for CFL teams in Madden and ending with an unintimidating game face.
I think David Spade is kinda funny, in a sarcastic kinda of way. So he was okay even though he was hardly on. I'm a fan of John Henson from back in the Talk Soup days, I just think the guy is funny... Andrew W.K was interesting trying to rock out in a wheel chair(so many classic rock jokes so little time LoL). Don't like DMX but he did get the crowd a rockin at the end.
Pike!, Dr.Jay! Let not fussin' and a fightin'. Let's just all sit back and say Trish and Victoria are very, very good LoL. I really like those two alot. I think it's the contrast of two women. Trish being a blonde bubbly short cutie and Victoira a strong, powerful, exotic, sexy woman. Victoria and Trish equals very nice LoL. Oh Yeah Jericho and Mysterio was there too and did a good match. The sitting was pretty unique for a wrestling match, thought it was interesting... What wasn't good at all was idiot Coach dissing Garcia in favor of J.J. Ahhh please! Garcia is light years sexier then her.
Christmas is the one time of year when people of all religions come together to worship Jesus Christ.
(1) During the pregame show, their list of the most anticipated games for the year included "SocAm 2", so that should show you how seriously they were taking the whole thing ...
(2) How convenient that "Smackdown:HCTP" won for Best Fighting Game, seeing as how Spike TV is the official cable home for the WWE, PLUS they were having a wrestling match during the show and all ... Yes, very convenient indeed.
EDIT: Oh yeah, a third thing :
(3) How could "Madden" win Best Game of the Year, but not Best Sports Game of the Year? How does THAT make sense?!?

I don't think the voting was fixed. Who knew about the VGAs that DOESN'T watch Spike. Who watches Spike that isn't a wrestling or Star Trek Fan? The voting was all done online by fans.
I think Smackdown:HCTP won because most of the voters were probably wrestling fans. No one on "Sportscenter" encouraged me to log on and vote for the awards. I didn't see any ads for the VGAs during "Trading Spaces." The games that won, won because of the demographics of the voters. The only time you saw an ad telling you to vote was while you were watching Spike.
And how did Madden win? Well, you voted for each category seperately. So when people voted for best game, more of then thought of Madden and when they voted for sports game, they picked HCTP. These are not the actual results, but consider this:
Game of the Year Soul Calibur II: 400 votes Here Comes the Pain: 100 votes Madden: 600 votes
Sports Game Here Comes the Pain: 500 votes Madden: 400 votes SSX 3: 200 votes
600 people thought Madden was off the hook, but 200 of them thought SSX was better. SSX3 was not offered as an option for game of the year, and no one bothered to write in a vote, choosing only from the nominees. 500 people loved Smackdown, but 400 of those people thought Soul Calibur II was better. It's not hard to come up with a scenario like this. Different games can split the vote in different categories.
I was reminiscing about going to the arcade as a kid, and there are three games that I remember playing a lot, but I can't remember their names for the life of me. I'll try to describe them as best I can. Maybe something will jog someone's memory... 1)...
