* Jonas Jr. is *so* his father. * I cannot believe that Col. Gentleman is STILL ALIVE. * Kano breathes fire. (!!!) * ACTION!!! ACTION!!! ACTION!!!
With this further look into the imperfect world of Jonas Jr., I am even more anxious to see how The Monarch interacts with him.
"As you may have read in Robert Parker's Wine Newsletter, 'Donaghy Estates tastes like the urine of Satan, after a hefty portion of asparagus.'" Jack Donaghy, 30 Rock
Favorite episode of the season. Only thing that could've made it better was the threesome between Col. Gentlmen, Gore Vidal, and Wally Schirra. Seeing the original Team Venture in action was great. I think I want to go to Japaninawa on my next vacation...
Great episode. Loved how they made Jonas Jr. into a subtly noteable ass, just like his father. It was good to see the Sea Captain and his mates tell him off for the crap he gave them, though it really didn't lead anywhere. Billy Quizboy acting like a 10 year old geek was a good running joke as well. And Col. Gentleman was funny as well, if a but too open about the details of his 'experiences'.
One question: I don't know much about Comic Con. But is it just me, or did this episode and some of its scenes seemed perfectly timed to comment and/or mock the event?
Finally got around to seeing it tonight (and last week's). The only disappointment here was not seeing the Monarch follow up on the ending to last week's episode, as this seemed to be a perfect time for a run-in, especially with Rusty hanging around. Everything else was pure awesome, especially Pete White's brief appearance. "You wish to conquer...the mom from Growing Pains?"
