The strongest episode of the season (at 3 and counting). I thought it'd be a throwaway episode at first, but I was really into the entire thing after the open sequence, especially the Phantom Limb's origin and Brock's early adventures. And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the G.I. Joe ripoff montage, which was all kinds of awesome.

The scene after the end credits seems to indicate that there's still more to the story, which is only good news. This is the first episode of the new season that's actually made me actively look forward to next week. Great stuff!

SHIRT OF THE WEEK: This week's shirt is the Billy Quizboy shirt. Not for me, personally, but it's up at the Astrobasego website.

The GI Joe parody was pretty choice, and I liked finally getting a definitive origin for Phantom Limb. It turns out that the Monarch was the closest to the truth.

Holy crap, that was Sgt. Hatred in the OSI! Also caught the quick Steve Summers cameo.

The Nozzle. Awesome.

I love this show.

Any time Hunter Gathers shows up, I'm well pleased.

This was my favourite episode of the season thus far. The OSI parody, especially. VB's at its best when they do mutli-layered parody like this.

There were A LOT of callbacks.

The worker scraping Richard Impossible's name off of the door
"Mike Sorayama design!"
Race Bannon at OSI
Crazy Myra
Probably a dozen more I'm forgetting
And of course the Hank & Dean (and H.E.L.P.E.R.!) cameos

I want to play "cows on my side" now.

EDIT: And how did I fail to mention Hunter's wish for big, beautiful tits?

I just watched it again and caught Sgt Hatred, they snuck that one right by me the first time.

Does this mean Hank and Dean didn't start out as clones? Or did we ever get that established?

I would guess that Hank and Dean were born the regular way. Various villains and Rusty's basic incompetence have killed the boys enough times that they are about 3 years younger than they should be.

OK, so is it possible that Myra supplied some DNA for the clone Hank and Dean babies, or were the first set of Hank and Dean babies not clones?
