These episodes continue to blow me away. I lost count of the number of things they were parodying in this episode.

First McGuirk, now Brendon. I am loving the "Home Movies" actor cameos.

Not to mention the callback overload... I think we've all been rewarded for having to sit through Season 1 a dozen times. I'd say that of the four we've had so far, three have been unbelievably fabulous, while "Return to the House of Mummies (Part II)" was merely pretty good.

Sure was better than Metalocalypse - whoops, that'd probably be another thread...later...

This was a great episode and pretty much summed up my feelings about "Contact", in general. Brock taking out Professor Impossible was also awesomeness. And on that note, I was pleasantly surprised with Stephen Colbert's guest voice.

I'll definitely be catching a replay of this one later this week...if not, I'm sure it'll be replayed a dozen or so times.

Judging by the few remarks on this thread, we need to get more people watching this show.

I'm astonished that Adult Swim hasn't gotten its hands on the original (Unedited! Thwunk. "Aiii-eeeeee!") Jonny Quest episodes, & shown them as companion pieces. Too cool.

(Oooh, original Jonny Quest on DVD (amazon.com) . I need to get on that!)

Is it a bad thing that an animated show is just about the best thing on TV these days?

Considering some of the crap that Fox tries to pass off for TV...no.

It only seems like that because so many people still think that cartoons are for kids. But really, has there been a better show in the last 15 years than the Simpsons? At least the first 7 or 8 seasons.
But I will take Venture Brothers, Home Movies, Dr. Katz, Aqua Teen, or classic Simpsons over the usual network sitcom crap any day. Call me childish, I suppose.

Pan Am's first episode containing actual character substance and not just light, pretty fluff. Although, let's talk about the pretty first: The production design and costume design of Pan Am is unreal.
