I swear, I love these shows, especially Velocity. OK, so it's not the A team, but sometimes I think that's for the best. I'm glad to have a show where I can get my Spanky, Ultimo Dragon and more fix every week on Velocity, and Stevie Richards, Lance Storm, Molly and the rest on Heat. In fact, I think I saw the best Velocity match EVER this weekend with Ultimo Dragon and Shannon Moore having a rematch, though Matt Hardy vs. Shannon Moore a few weeks back was wonderful. Plus, you get about 312% more clean finishes on these shows, as well as getting the chance to see the jobbers/superstars of the future. Are there any other Velocity/Heat marks out there?

I love Heat I am the world's only Marc Loyd fan! (go me!) I love the whole Stevie Richards thing. But I can't watch Velocity because they don't show it here! (I miss Spanky already!)

I'm sorry- Did it look like I was listening?

I really enjoy Heat, but I really wish they'd put less emphasis on what happened at Raw and allow Heat to be a standalone program showcasing their undercard talent.

Man, one of the best matches I saw in a long time was on Heat, and Maven beat whomever he was facing. Man, I was so into that match, unlike on Raw, where I'm fighting to stay awake.

Note to WWE: Less Raw on Heat...more wrestling. One hour is good time for some great wrestling.

I've been recapping Velocity for a few weeks now, attempting to convince more people to watch the show.

My track record on watching Heat has been a little more spotty, just because I'm usually not in the mood to watch TV when it's on. After seeing the 'angel snow' skit with Stevie & Victoria, however, I'm going to make an effort to at least tape the show if not watch it 'live'.

My all time favourite botched move occured on Heat as well. I forget the indy guys name but he was wrestling Scott Steiner. As far as I could tell, he tried to show off by doing Ultimo Dragon's headstand in the corner, except he forgot the part where you're supposed to stop once you get vertical. He just flopped right on over to the ground and Steiner stood there with a "what the fuck was that?" look on his face. (No, he looked even more dumbfounded than usual.)

Snow isn't quite as enjoyable on commentary as I would have expected. I think maybe he just doesn't click well with Coach. Maybe they should do a trade with Ernest Miller & Al Snow. Al could just do something to annoy Bischoff to the point where Eric offers to trade Al to Stephanie in exchange for The Cat and Stephanie could act like she didn't even know The Cat worked for Smackdown and accept the trade so she could get someone who's not absolutely worthless. Snow and Josh already have chemistry and Coach and Ernest Miller suck on the same level, so it could be beneficial for both shows.

The B-shows are okay, the time spots are a little difficult to catch but I really wish they'd do more backstage skits and interviews with them

On Heat, you have guys like Steven Richards and Goldust regularly on it, let them do backstage skits, I wouldn't mind more of that interviews and stuff, okay I want to see Garcia also doing interviews LoL... As a RaWomen mark, it's always good that they get TV time usually on the show. I really wish Sportsnet In Canada still carried it because Sunday's at 7 is such a odd time for me to catch it, I use to watch the repeat at 11:30PM. Damn TNN has nothing on why can't they repeat Heat after 10, ahhh.

I'm not as into Velocity, because personally for me there's nothing more difficult then sitting through a Bill Demott match (Albert is more entertaining then Demott). But the cruisers are always fun, even guys like Paul London when he was on was cool to watch... Josh & Cat are really falling into that, "Their so bad their good." Actually that's not all true, I think Josh is fantastic, this is going to sound insane but my favorite PBP guy on the roster. Cat is horrible but I think he knows it and accepts so it's funny. I don't think he knows what's going on in SD. Last night Josh asks something, Cat Stays silent and Josh says quickly "Thanks Cat" LoL. And Cat defends himself in saying "I'm getting ready for this match." And on many occasions Cat giggles to himself after Josh disses him for his lack of announcing skills. Saying all that I still take Miller over Lawler

DeMott's been off TV for several weeks now And with Spanky teaming with Funaki, I think the amount of A-Train vs. Funaki squashes have been cut down.

Velocity has been excellent so far this year and even better in the past few weeks with the new teaming of Spanky and Funaki. Even the APA have been pretty entertaining on the show. Spanky/Funaki vs. WGTT was sweet last night.

As for Heat, I have to agree that TNN should have a replay or make it later in the evening. I don't get to catch it as often as Velocity. I'm pissed I missed the "snow angel" skit from last week. I tend to to forget and turn on Heat late. That or i'm probably having dinner or something when it comes on.

Overall though, i'm a supporter of the B-shows. They're good for a weekend wrestling fix plus the chance of getting to see big indy guys on occassion.

I think WWE is missing the boat in a big way with regards to HeAT & Velocity.

Like someone mentioned above, I would make these standalone shows, with segments, matches and character development with its own booking teams.

The benefits are multi-fold as it allows wrestlers the opportunities to develop their characters, allowing them to experiment and get comfortable behind the mic. Ensure they feel involved in the product and not just going out there going through the motions, this no doubt will be good for morale.

It also allows for the development of writers and should one of the A-Shows not be up to scratch, it allows promotion from within based on record.
