All I can say is that Velocity has been the best non-RAW or Smackdown show on television over the last four of five weeks. I'm starting to watch this show weekly (tough call tonight, as the Bengals were on, but I still caught a lot of stuff). Also, I think Velocity's done better than even Heat, who's product I've been bored with on occasional viewings.
Pro's:
Hardcore Holly: He's getting pushed like crazy on this show, and he's been REALLY good (almost Superheavyweight good, and you know what I mean). He's feuding with Billy, Chucky and Rico and the feud has just been simple, but well done.
Randy Orton: I've really come around on this guy. I used to hate him, but now, I realize it's not Randy Orton I hate, it's John Cena! Cena is the devil! But, Orton, is really starting to blossom on these shows and I saw flashes of him actually being on the big shows and holding his own one day (he's got this great corner pin move I've never seen before and his ring work is getting less... boring).
Cruiserweights: A lot of cruiserweight action over the last few weeks, heck even last two months, equals good wrestling. I missed any cruisers this week, but I can say that they're part of the reason to watch Velocity.
Rico: No one generate's heat like Rico. This guy has a lot of charisma and untapped potential. I hpe WWE can get over his age and we can see him in a non-managerial role some day.
Con's: Video packages! ARGH! They're the bane of my existence. The show is laden with them, but I'm excited about Summer Slam so I really didn't care, THIS week.
All in all, Velocity is really coming into it's own, and I can't WAIT to see what they bring us in the future.
Oh, and on a sidenote, Lita was a guest commentator this week and all I can say is, Lita IS Chyna. No woman's voice was meant to be that...Chnya-ey. (sighs) I remember when she used to come out with Essa Rios and just used to look good and do a moonsault...Those were the days...
The REAL question is, "Who Bettah Than Cory Dillon"!?
I've been lucky enough to catch Velocity that past few weeks and I agree totally. Velocity is way better than Heat. The match quality is better to me.
As far as Lita, whom I can't stand, all I can say is I hope we don't see her next week. I thought she was a friggin' robot at the start of the show. Her conversations were scripted for her and it came off really bad because I think she had trouble with the sentences over 10 words long.

tajiri vs funaki happened on velocity, and apprently looking out into the crowd during funaki's entrance did not leave you looking at a bunch of people sitting on their hands, there were actually people cheering for him! astounding! it was a pretty good match, mostly controlled by tajiri with a couple of good moves (and an attempt at a tarantula!) by funaki.
i agree that the cruisers have been doing great on velocity, and that's basically the only reason i tune in to the show. seeing holly, chuckabilly, rico, orton and anybody else (rob conway wrestled a few matches in june) is just an added bonus. BUT, putting out matches featuring albert or mark henry is NOT a good thing. especially against each other, or mike awesome. guh!
edit: i also agree that heat is better than velocity. heat has d-lo and the coach, the superior commentary team, as well as the raven-dlo feud, but that's it. well, they had a few matt hardy - steven richards matches last month that ruled, and shelton benjamin, who is sort of interesting, but THAT's it.
