Good move (sports.espn.go.com) by the Cowboys ... I'd hate to bet the farm on his leg should they get into a close post-season matchup.

So they toss out Vanderjagt because he's unreliable and decide to put their trust in...Martin Gramatica? Oy yoy yoy!

"That's the thing: Maybe he'll be up and down this season, but when he's up, is there another center in the league quite like him? He protects the rim, passes out of double teams, has great hands around the basket, up-fakes on his jump-hooks, rebounds in traffic, even has a motor that keeps going and going (unlike a stiff like Eddy Curry). I'm not sure what's missing here. This is stunning. This is startling. There's almost no precedent for it. Just what the Lakers needed: More obscenely good luck. Meanwhile, I have to watch Al Jefferson whip jump-hooks off the front of the rim for the third straight season. I will now pour scalding hot water down my pants."

Gramatica made some crucial FG's, including the game-winner yesterday, so I could be eating my words.

What I couldn't get past was Buck's insistence on touting Gramatica's high playoff percentage. Considering Vanderjagt (still) has the best FG percentage of all time, that argument for Gramatica doesn't hold much water.

Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you...

BWAHAHAHAHA. This is so beautiful. Vanderjackass gets dumped out onto the street where he belongs, and a former Buccaneer adds to the big "bye, bitch" by drilling three kicks including a last-second game winner, shutting my Giants-loving cocky father up good to boot.

Karma will ALWAYS get you in the end, Mikey-boy.

The Cowboys continue to go up on my "like" list with each passing week, and with the Bears a paper 10-2, the 8-4 NFC teams look like much better bets for the Super Bowl as a whole.

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.
