Argh, argh, argh. I saw this movie. It rocked. And now I read this:
It's too bad that Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust was disqualified due to a technicality (the paperwork was reportedly never received by the Academy).
From IGNFilmForce, when trying to decide best animated picture. Argh Argh Argh. I loved this movie, and will probably buy it sometime soon (after I buy a DVD player, most likely), but to hear that it can't win a little gold statue because of botched paperwork. ARGH!
I liked this movie much more than the original. Bloodlust just flowed, and it was really fun to watch. If you haven't seen it, I encourage you to rent it or buy it. If you're an anime fan, it's well worth it.
I'm really glad Stuart Scott has toned down his act since the first week. Most of his stuff still isn't funny but it isn't as over the top either. Anyway, I think it's going to come down to Aaron, Mike and Maggie.
