Ladies and Gentlemen - The Pie Family is planning a trip to Cooperstown this August and we're looking for recommendations on where we might stay that would accommodate 5 people around that area. Does anyone know of any cabins or the like that might fit the bill that don't cost $3,000 per week to rent? Any help with accommodations or other cool things to see in that area would be great. We're go to the Hall and a game or two in Oneonta of the NY-Penn league, but other than that we're open. Are there waterfalls or caves or something of that ilk that kids would like?

Thanks in advance for what I am sure will be tons of help from this group!

Howe Caverns is about a half hour from Cooperstown if I recall correctly. My parents live a couple hours south of there and I went there a few times over the years.

Lloyd: When I met Mary, I got that old fashioned romantic feeling, where I'd do anything to bone her.
Harry: That's a special feeling.

I thought everyone who went to cooperstown stayed at the Otesaga. that's what years of listening to Mr Tony have taught me. :>

Superman/Doomsday : Hunter/Prey was so much better then the first go around with the whole death of Superman thing. Dan Jurgens was on top of his game with that series. Who would have ever guessed that Doomsday was Kryptonian?
