Erica Evans, Hero of the Visitors. There should be an Erica Evans Day on the V motherships.

Big step up in story and character from last week. The Resistance leadership is finally being formed, but the Fifth Column within the Visitors is an even cooler major development. The references to "reconnecting" and "bliss" are interesting. The Vs' monitor screens linked to their swanky blue jacket cameras are cool. The more we find out about those damned dirty lizards, the better.

I also liked Ryan's threat that the Visitors would skin Cyrus alive. The Vs skin each other? Into what, suitcases and belts? "See these sweet boots I'm wearing? I used to know this guy. He was a dick."

We spent a lot more time with the Visitors and this week, it didn't seem like scenes ended prematurely right when Anna was about to say something interesting. I liked Anna's rehearsal of her speech to Mary Faulkner, right down to fake (crocodile) tears. Anna must have studied Method acting on the Visitor homeworld.

Thumbs way up to Lisa's quick thinking of getting into her underpants rather than Erica seeing her in her uniform. Lisa's mother (Anna!) didn't hatch no dummy.

Now that the Visitors have visas, do they have the same "diplomatic immunity" the South Africans in Lethal Weapon 2 had?

Still wondering about the gender stuff in the ranks there, given that it looked like we went 29 for 29 in the male department.

The (two!) big reveal(s) surprised me again, which I enjoyed.

No old priest this week, though - and nobody eating any damn hamsters! I wanna see some damn hamster eating!

I feel like there might be something big next week to mark the last of the first four - I hope I'm not raising my expectations for a big disappointment, but I am... ...cautiously optimistic?

Anyone else notice how Anna is still kind of "reptilian" even in human form?

Who likes the little little duckies in the pond? I do, I do, I do, a chicka-quack quack.

I agree that Morena Baccarin looks amazingly reptilian. I'm not sure if its a good job by the make-up department, my mind is seeing things that aren't exactly there, or a combination of both. Her scene rehearsing her speech was a nice touch.

Is Anna really Lisa's mother or is that just a term of matriarchal respect? Could Anna be the mother of all V's?

I'm surprised at how lax V security is. What's the point of a room full of monitors if no one is monitoring them? Shouldn't there be a video record of Erica sneaking in? For as much as she lectured the priest about taking risks, she took some herself.

I almost feel like the subheading for this show should be "how to botch a stealth invasion." Dale didn't leave any records behind indicating he and Erica were investigating the V's/the resistance? Surely someone has to know that Erica was close to finding them out.

What are the odds that Ryan is John May?

You believe me, don't you?

I could have swore when they were doing a close up of Anna at the end of the episode, that they used cgi to have her nostrils flare in a more "reptilian" way. It kind of freaked me out.

Its the plot to the fourth movie where Cesar leads the revolt against the humans. Interesting place to start, but in reality after Burton's debacle, its better to leave this franchise alone. The shock ending to the original is never going to be surpassed....
