Not quite the episode 2 I was hoping for. I read a review of the pilot that said something to the effect that V was like a cop procedural with aliens in the background. Episode 2 really felt like that.

I can't help but compare to the original miniseries where by the end of hour 2 the Resistance was set up, all the main characters knew each other, and we knew the Visitors were evil and what they were generally up to. By the end of hour 2 now, we know... not too much new from what we knew by the end of hour one. We know not to trust anyone.

I did like Lisa turning her back on Tyler because he punched out the protester. Tyler was trying to be all macho and impress the alien girl whose people's motto is "We are of peace. Always."

I feel like the Visitors dialogue is ending up on the cutting room floor. Scenes end right before Anna starts saying something really interesting. The Visitors need personalities, stat.

Still, the preview for next week seems like the action and story ramps up, so fingers crossed that business picks up.

The other priest is totally a Visitor, right?

Yeah, not so much going on tonight, and knowing they're only doing four and then taking a few months off, I was kinda hoping all four would count. I almost got more out of the preview for next week's show than I did for this hour.

But the other priest.....looking almost obvious at this point. Don't trust anyone, indeed

How fitting that the motto of V is the same as a certain Texas Rattlesnake.

They're kind of driving that point home aren't they? I'm wondering if there will be a swerve with him since it is so obvious.

Hmm, Rekha Sharma...from Cylon to Lizard perhaps? I guess that's what they want you to think, given her interest in talking to the young priest.

Liked the new conversion chamber. It was a lot more realistic that the last one. And seeing real snakes on your body is a lot freakier than puppet lizard breaking through a wall.

I didn't mind the slowdown in the action, especially after the frenetic pace of the pilot.

I just want to see what happens when Dale shows back up at work. Cuz he has to, right?

How did DEA know to send the 911 recording to the Antiterrorism Unit? Did someone from DEA recognize Erica's voice?

Lady Cop being a V makes sense since she might be investigating their own activity, but Old Priest, I don't know. I guess it makes sense from a strategy standpoint to have agents at the community leadership level, but how many of them would be here? The implication almost seems to be that everyone has a V within their circle of friends/coworkers, which seems a bit high. At that point, why not just have them all be all "Look we've been here all along and we're great people! Now trust us so we can kill you."

I'm disappointed that the alien's floaty-balls-of-doom apparently only have infrared tracking. If we can make a Flip phone, they should be able to have better video.

Liked the fact that the address was (the) 4400.

Liked the reporter getting some balls, but he's still way under Anna's sway.

How come the women V are all hot, but the male V are kinda creepy? Especially the guy who's always with Anna? (Is he her superior? Lieutenant?)

Not that this will matter with Dale waking up, but shouldn't the V know that Erica was on the verge of figuring out what was going on? Shouldn't they have offed her and her kid already? The visual of Dale's eye on the shredded picture was cool.

Wonder how long it will take for that list of whackjobs to lead to something interesting.

You believe me, don't you?
Please believe what I just said...

What makes that guy creepy is his awful hair dye. The shade is somewhere between Pete Rose and Dick Stockton.

It was good for what it was. I liked the writers acknowledging what was going to happen, but still defending it somehow. Cleveland continues to run hot or cold as his character goes.
