In conjunction with DC Comics, the US Postal Service today is selling Super Heroes Stamps (usps.com). Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Batman, Flash, Plastic Man, Aquaman, Supergirl and Hawkman are immortalized in solo shots as well as classic comic book covers. So I wonder, if I use a Flash stamp, will my mortgage check get to the bank faster ? Hey Crab Man ! Promote this thread!

If I use a Superman stamp, will the stuff I send get there in one piece for a change? (Not that I'm declaring open-season on these kinda bad jokes).

Thought it a weird choice Seems out of place, but he's one of the few characters to endure from the Golden Age of comics until the present, and has a big cult following (which includes both fans and creators). The "Thing You Must Buy Because I Say So" of the Week: Johnny Cash - Personal File (2-Disc set) (The W at Amazon) Hey look, an emo-free LJ!
This seems like ideal place to encourage everyone to visit The Big E fair in Springfield, Mass. Not Big E the wrestler (although I think he went once), The Big E is the New England regional fair.
