I'm watching the UPW show on TLC, and I was wondering, is this the beginning of the one they always show (that I miss) or is this a new one?

(Test in Mascara? Umm...Ok...)

EDIT: Seems new to me. Chris Daniels looks sad. Nobody will sign him.

EDIT AGAIN: They're talking WCW, so it's AN old one, but not THE old one.

I saw the show, and I can't say that I've seen it before. Is THE old show you mention the one with Prototype? I don't remember if that was UPW, but tonight's was a different show than I've seen before.

Why was Test wearing a Kane mask? I get that he was wearing mascara to get that "black skin around the eyes" look that Kane has, but did they explain why a recognizable wrestler like Test was working under a mask?

Yes, the other UPW show was with Prototype and Looney Lane.

As for Test with the mask, I have no idea. It looks like they were filming a comercial spot or something, but I couldn't tell for what. I felt really bad for Daniels, because he seemed like he was really excited about being signed by WCW...and know.

The Test thing was from when he was filming "18 Wheels of Justice."

Q: If you could have interviewed Marvin Gaye, where would you have proposed to meet and what would you have asked him?

A: I would have met anywhere as long as it was before his father shot him. I would have asked him, "Hey, don't you think there's some chance that your father might shoot you? To death, I mean?"

Parts of the South would eat up a family-friendly wrestling show that de-emphasizes T&A and profanity for Old School shenanigans and cartoony faces. This might be the very genre that brings wrestling back as a monthly affordable, family event.
