While I've been a little down on King's X since after their self-titled album, they still have some good stuff.
And while I've never seen them live, I've heard good things about Satriani live from those who've seen him. And Dream Theater should be a lot of fun, too. I love some of the live stuff they did on "A Change of Season," even if it was all cover songs.
So, while I am a long-time rock musician (on and off for over ten years now, and I'm 28), sounds like you got great seats to a fun show. Enjoy!

Back in my mid-90's days at UW-Green Bay (yes, Jason Kidd, that UWGB), we had In a Metal Mood at our campus radio station. Many times I remember doing a song or two off of there during my shows...at least until it disappeared.
