I'm catching a show in Jacksonville next month headlined by Dream Theater, Joe Satriani, and King's X. The venue is pretty small for them and I have seats in the 4th row front and center.
Please tell me there are other people out there who appreciate these guys. You don't HAVE to be a musician!
I just get discouraged with all the crap that's out there today (no, I'm not an old timer, I'm 21).

While I've been a little down on King's X since after their self-titled album, they still have some good stuff.
And while I've never seen them live, I've heard good things about Satriani live from those who've seen him. And Dream Theater should be a lot of fun, too. I love some of the live stuff they did on "A Change of Season," even if it was all cover songs.
So, while I am a long-time rock musician (on and off for over ten years now, and I'm 28), sounds like you got great seats to a fun show. Enjoy!
