Yeah - all I read over the weekend was how the way were just waiting for the folks drafted around Shockey to sign. They wasted no time :-)
Part of me would be surprised if he plays in the Hall of Fame game against the Texans (Monday Night) but he might pick everything up quick enough to see a few snaps.
Another interesting thing is that with Shockey in now, the Giants have been trying Dan Campbell out at Fullback since they need to replace Greg Comella and Campbell is known to be a decent blocker.

I think Campbell would be fine at fullback and he could take the occaisional swing pass and do somthing with it, too.
