The song I loved faded away and I never heard it on the radio again. A week ago, for some reason the song crept back into my mind as I was downloading some tunes. But I can;t remember the name of the song of the artist. And my memory of the lyrics is sketchy at best but here goes:

They were somehwat of a one hit wonder band, though they have 2 or 3 singles that I remember. Inside Out was definately only the real 'hit'. Their self-titled album which these were off of is pretty good, but nothing I would go out of my way to buy again if I lost my copy.

Maybe it's just me, but if someone asked me to name a big Eve 6 song, *I* would name "Here's to the Night" and NOT that other song. Then again, I heard about this band so much in the late 90s/early 00s that I wouldn't even call them a one-hit-wonder.

This is probably because I stopped following new rock stations sometime in high school. I had no idea Eve 6 went on to more things after their initial success. Guess I shouldn't comment on things unles I'm sure I know the full picture.

#16 (7) Adult Top 40
#5 (N/A) Mainstream Rock Tracks
#1 (33) Modern Rock Tracks
#28 (30) Hot 100
#11 (14) Top 40 Mainstream
#20 (14) Top 40 Tracks
#2 (1) Top 40 Adult Recurrents
So as you can see, they rank about equally, except that "Inside Out" went higher on the Mainstream Rock and Modern Rock charts, while "Here's To The Night" went higher on the Adult Top 40 chart. Given the characteristics of the two songs, that hardly seems surprising.

Thanks, JJD. Right now he spends his time going through my CDs saying "Can I borrow this?" I look at the song list and say "um, no, put that back." I guess I didn't acquire most of my CD collection with a pre-teen in mind.
