It wasn't until the very end when the full scope of Unknown was unraveled when I realized I liked it more than Taken. The commercials make it seem like Taken Part Deux, but Unknown is quite different from Taken - much more like The Bourne Identity. It's a good Euro action mystery thriller with a fantastic locale in wintry, photogenic Berlin.
And Nothing Good Ever Comes From Being Married to Betty Draper.
Mrs. JJD and I went and saw this Saturday night. Convoluted, even more than the Bourne movies, but really good. The Bourne Identity was pretty simple - NOBODY know he was. His life was erased. This is more like Liam Neeson's life was shaken up in a snowglobe or run through a paper-shredder.
(Disclaimer: I LOVE the Bourne trilogy.)
Also, Diane Kruger > January Jones.

"OH, GOD, THERE'S A FORK IN THE MICROWAVE, GET OUT!" BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM! That part made me crack the fuck up with the absurdity of it all! Everything else about the trailer was just stupid as hell, though.
