First of all, HHH jobs cleanly - I guess the powers of bees and teleportation were not enough. Have a nice honeymoon, HHH.

RVD loses again, this time to Christian - they won't let him win anything, will they?

Any bets on how long it takes JR & Lawler to regain their announcer's seats? I say three weeks.

Nice drop to nowhere, Shane. See you in a few months.

Team TeSteiner is back. Um - yay?

The Damn Dudleys have the belts back. Too bad they don't have more competition.

Lita beats Molly - too bad.

Steph

I for one thought the ending was very anticlimactic, kinda like No Mercy from a couple years ago.

So out of 8 matches, only 3 didn't involve illegal interference/weapons and 2 of those 3 were no disqualification matches?

Well, the *referee* (according to King) said that Jericho interfered, so I'm betting that Stone Cold will bring out said referee on RAW this week or next and overturn the match, furthering the feud with Jericho.

My Calgary Flames are currently tied for first place overall with a record of 0-0-0-0. It's training camp, but it's a start, right?

MY THOUGHTS (aka picking my spot to post as per my restarining order),

the ending of the Orton/Jesus match looked awfuly familiar...oh yeah, thats what it was, Savage beat Santana for the IC belt at boston guarden in the EXACT SAME FASHION..although, I remeber savage using a bicycle handle wrapped in tape instead on Ortons knuxx..

The double "electric chair" was the move of the night. Scott Keith came in his pants i'm sure...

I haven't seen HHH job like that since he layed down for ice train on WCW worldwide in '92...

JR's emotional speech with the king before they "called the best match of their damn lives" was PATHETIC. I wish he would drop dead already.

Shane is still crz (sp?) for taking those sick bumps!!

Goldberg won the belt just in time for Rosh hashanah!!!

well...

Duds win but the fued apparently isn't over... of course the guy who is probably the best of the whole group is the one who takes the stupid bump as 'revenge for Spike' probably a few months before they turn on him again.

Lita had it for a bit, but then the moonsault killed things again. C'mon girl, you don't want knees like Kobashi and Mutoh.

Gee, armwork really dampens the Superkick huh Randy? More of the same from the usual suspects.

Christian retains, so I guess Booker T is close to coming back. All 3 of them seemed to have had the munchies though.

What no Porky Pig 'that's all folks!' at the end? Kane seem to have Nathan Jone's wardrobe now as well.

I really hope the point of this is so Al can turn on Coach too and somehow get in a few ribs on Mick along the way. still, i expect the HOSS and PUPPIES to come roaring back ala New Coke.

Out of frying pan, into fire. Have Rick Fuller and Jerry Flynn signed on yet?

I doubt it, since Keith also saw the QUADRUPLE superplex from TNA a few weeks ago (and was very excited about it).

Ah, shuddup. That was a better promo than 90% of the Raw roster could pull outta their ass. As for the show, it was better than I-and most, I'd imagine-expected. Enjoyed Shawn/Orton, the women's match, Last Man Standing and GOOOOOOLDBERG. Even the opener was decent. But man, what a disappointing triple threat match. All three guys were like six steps off.

Ick on this show, I say.

The Orton/Michaels match was the most exciting of the night, but the convoluted conclusion made it seem like nothing at all was accomplished.

Yes, HHH finally jobbed. That's a good thing. And Goldberg's the best they have to carry the belt for a few months. Unfortunately, the title match was just awful. Tonight's main event shows that RAW is in desperate need of a fan favorite who can be a credible champion and wrestle a good match. Goldberg is over, but he just can't carry the show. They should grab one of the guys from the super mid-card of Smackdown (Benoit, Rhyno, Cena, Edge) move him to RAW, and push him to the moon as a face who can serve as a foil to Evolution.

I liked the triple threat match, but certainly was expecting better from these 3 workers.

Last Man Standing undeniably had some impressive spots (and hopefully no permanent injuries to Shane), but I'll remember this match most for the ridiculous farting around with the steel steps for three minutes or more before Shane did the cross-the-ring dropkick.

Lots of ick on the tag tables match, the women's match, the commentator's match, and most of all, the Test/Steiner match, which was just embarrassing.

So Kane couldn't beat Shane because Shane beat himself by being such a DAREDEVIL. And everyone chanted Shane after the match. And a guy that doesn't even wrestle and is off TV for like a year at a time comes back and gets 20 minutes of heat on your monster heel.

God Bless Shane McMahon!

He IS? No wonder I've never seen Chris and Shane in the same place. Why would he constantly tell himself that he can't dance?

Good show. The Triple threat started off slow, but built nicely after the halfway point.

It's nice to see Goldberg get the win, and I'm actually pretty excited to see him feud with Kane (who looked fine in his match, but Shane came out the real winner with that bumptastic fall).

As for the Jericho/Austin feud. I don't know about this. We'll see.

Wisconsin Badgers: 2-1 (Well...Obviously...Casino Management Majors make good football players....)

Minnesota Vikings: 2-0 (That's a bit more like it. Good game all around...Though they shouldn't have let Chicago get their hopes up.)

Dreadful PPV.

OK, the Triple Threat and Orton/Michaels were good enough but the rest was complete garbage.

Shane v Kane was pretty much a carbon copy of his Backlash 2001 match against The Big Show. Stupid ending that saw the stage win rather than Kane!

HHH/Goldberg was poor (as expected) and the f***ing crowd were completely dead at the end. In fact, the crowd were dead throughout most of the night.

I can't believe it. For one year, everybody and his brother of the IWC (myself included) has been saying that Triple H should drop the title. Triple H never loses clean. Triple H never loses. Triple H never comes close to losing. Now, Triple H lost cleanly. To a guy who is wicked over. And he's gonna be gone for a while.

And you're still complaining.

Argh. Here's my prediction for Raw tonight. Jesus himself (not HHH, the real one) comes back from about 2000 years of hiding, cures all the evils of the world, rids us of all our pain and suffering, and makes Jericho a foot taller with the same workrate so Vince will give him more title shots.

And the IWC complains.

Sometimes I ask myself why I watch WWE after all the crap it's given me. HLA, necro, HHH, and so on. And then it hits me. That one simple phrase that can be modified and used for anything that gets you down, yet makes you keep coming back.

Every episode has the potential to be the best one ever, and I'll be damned if I'm going to miss it after sitting through this shit.

Oh, shut up. Most casual fans love Shane McMahon, and the prospect of seeing him tossed around and throwing himself off of high places probably did more to sell the PPV to many people than, say, RVD going against Kane in a Last Man Standing Match. Shane's previous matches have given an expectation to the casual fans, one that guarantees they'll get something interesting when they watch, which is something others do not. Sometimes it's not all about getting a new wrestler over or helping the business-why can't something be done just to entertain the fans and give them what they're after?

Your absolutely right, and I agree with you 100 percent.

It's just a shame that Shane taking that huge bump made the audience blow their load for the rest of the night. It was just one of those unfortunate things that Vince wasn't able to foresee.
