| #1 Posted on 19.8.02 2239.04 | I'm liking what the WWE is doing with Eric Bishoff's character. He's not always out to screw the faces. He doesn't have any true foes. He's yet to step foot in the ring. Bischoff's character is conserned for the good of *his* show. It's a good direction for the never ending 'boss' angle to go in. The funny thing is I hate Eric Bicshoff...at least I thought I did. Maybe it's just McMahon relief I'm feeling. So, far the character is working and I think that they could do quite a bit more with it if they wanted to, and I'm not talking about setting up a Eric/Steph match either.

I've never hated Bisch on-camera, and I think just about every member of the IWC would agree it's his off-camera sins he should pay for.

| #7 Posted on 20.8.02 0659.13 | For the past few weeks, Bischoff has been more entertaining than Steph. In a year where Goldust and Hogan have defied expectations and have had success with the internet community, Bischoff seems to be going the same way too.

I've had multiple teeth being pulled that were more enjoyable than Steph/Steph shrieking.
Thank you Mr. Wanz for the check, now you get an AWA World Title Reign. But be careful, my boy Greg is a heat machine.

I did that, and the man behind the counter laughed at me.
Anyways, Bischoff is good. He's not taking wrestling away, he's adding cheap T&A and breaking up boring segments after 3 minutes. Now, if only he could break up boring HHH segments after 3 minutes... HHH:...and I am going to destroy you, Shawn! Destruction is something you should get used to, as I am going to educate you in the field of getting destroyed! *BUZZER* Bischoff comes out. BISCHOFF: Okay, Triple H, you've had your promo time for this week, let's move on! HHH: But I didn't get to... BISCHOFF: Three minutes, Trips, that's what we all agreed on. Now march, or else Rosie & Jamal will show YOU the meaning of the word "destruction".

| #11 Posted on 20.8.02 1612.54 | ^^^ I did the same, and the guy at Subway gave me a bewildered look.
Anyway, at first I thought it was just "McMahon relief". I think we've all had as much Vince as we could take for at least a couple years now. But slowly, I gave in and realized that damn, Bischoff is entertaining!
That being said, I didn't particularly enjoy him last night. But then, I didn't enjoy much about last night's Raw, except when Jericho called H "Hunter Hearst HILARIOUS". heh.

For some reason, I don't have them pegged as wrestling fans-- plus, almost none of them speak English as their primary language, so they probably wouldn't literally understand me. | #13 Posted on 20.8.02 2102.34 | My name is Scorpio, and I am willing to admit it as well. Bischoff has been amusing me about half the time. He's still on my screen a bit too much, yes, and man, the laughing just isn't getting him over. What *is* getting him over, with me, is the fact that, well, all he (the character) cares about is the wrestling. Everything gets decided in the ring, and not with him there. He wants someone beat up? He sends his wrestlers after them. Two guys are having a dispute? Give 'em a match. All about the ring, baybee.
And the other thing that's getting him over with me, is the damn Three Minutes catch phrase. I like it, and I am not willing to admit it. The key is, if I think of a time to say it at work, at it amuses me, then it is over, and it is ovah.

| #14 Posted on 20.8.02 2150.53 | One thing I was wondering however is how over will the WWE let him get before pulling the rug out from under him. What if there's a McMahon, any one of them, that doesn't like the fact that Eric Bischoff is helping get the product over. Their product over. The one he tried to kill, and almost killed. Moreso than when they were on television nightly. What if the character really starts to get *over* in one form or another? Can the WWE swallow that? You would think so, but you never know.
Then again he could blow the angle next week and deserve to be shitcanned.

Thay mat be the greatest idea I've ever heard.
Uncle Eric right now is my favourite part of Raw. Watching him pump his fist in the air after every small pop he gets during a promo is GREAT.
The Eric pics ala Big Brother (1984, not SHITTY CBS) everywhere are also an amusing touch.
And killing the 24/7 rule? If he really were in charge, we'd all owe him a hell of a lot of thanks. Since it's just entertainment sit back and think "Thanks Uncle Eric!"
And GOD am I hoping this isn't leading to Stephanie taking over both shows down the line.

The WWE will not can him if he is making them money> THey don't care who he worked for before. That's why they hired him: to make them money. Everything is business.
